Matthew Park

This park is behind the community centre and is fully loaded. It has tennis courts, a soccer field, playground, splash pad in the summer months and a lot of room to run around.
You would have no problem keeping the kids busy here for an entire day in the summer with the splash pad going, it has all kids of different sprinklers for the kids to run through and buckets dumping water on them, and it is all a colourful rubber flooring. Even the playground has a rubber flooring, it is layered as well, it is starting to break in some areas hopefully repairs were made in the off season.
The only problem I have with this park is the people that use it, people bring balloons for their kids to fill with water and when they break don’t bother to pick up the pieces, although I don’t think it’s a good idea to bring balloons to the splash pad in the first place in my opinion.
Overall it’s generally a good time and the kids usually have some new friends by the end if the day.
