The Laser Generation

I can’t tell you how disappointed I am after being referred to this clinic. I missed one appt and called to let them know and it was fine to reschedule. A few months later after paying almost the full amount up front for Facial laser treatment and laser hair removal I missed another appt because my mom was in the hospital with heart trouble. The woman who owns the spa was upset because she cut her lunch short to have seen me on that particular day. So she cancelled all my pretty much paid for appts and did not let me know. Once I called to confirm my next appt I was told that the owner was hoping I would just go away and she wouldn’t talk to me and would keep my money for the missed appt. She increased the cost of the 3 appts I had with her and kept my money — I had 5 more appts and a free facial that I never received.
Ethically, I am disappointed; treatment wise, I have been reading that she undersold me to get me started as I would need more treatments afterward and then I would have to book another multi session package. Even the girl doing my laser there said I was not doing enough and I would need another package.
Save your money and go to a reputable clinic — someone who values your business in these economic times and who really has a dermatologist working with her. Although she mentioned one and gave me a receipt with his name on it — I never saw him nor is he on her website — I wonder what the deal is there.
I guess even if someone you respect refers you somewhere — do your homework — I hope this helps you when you consider the Laser Generation
