Sak’s Fine Foods

They have everything, and they are open 24 hours a day. COME ON! Awesome! I have lived in areas WITHOUT a nearby 24-​hour store, and it SUCKS. And Sak’s is like the Deluxe Edition of all-​night neighbourhood corner stores.
It has always been the same guy working every time I’ve been here… and he’s awesome. Funny, personable, but INCREDIBLE that he seems to run the place. Again, this joint is 24-​hour, so this man is dedicated to his craft.
This is the most odd convenience/​corner/​variety store in my area — it’s pretty big in comparison to most others in the area, and it has some really odd specialties — for instance the weed paraphinalia display to the right of the cash — it’s a big, glass-​doored shelving unit full of weird bongs, small and extravagant hookahs, glass pipes, flavoured rolling papers, etc. I didn’t look very closely but I believe they also have a selection of different-​flavoured shisha.
It’s right beside a pizza pizza as well. This is a dangerous late-​night hunger stop indeed.
SAFETY NOTE: If you’re driving, be VERY careful entering/​exiting the parking lot! This is a dangerous intersection and it is a test of will, mental strength and extreme daredevil driving ability to make it in and out of here alive.
