Excellent service. Very warm and welcoming. We had a crowd of ten and so sat inside. Loved their on-site backed bread. Lamb chops were perfect: seared, cooked as ordered medium rare, perfectly seasoned. The portions are a bit small but the yummy bread definitely and lovingly filled any unused corners of our stomach. Great wine suggestions. Generous with the tasting. I would go back in a heartbeat for an authentic small Copenhagen café experience.

This was my second time at Adendum. The first time was a couple of years ago, and I wasn’t extremely thrilled back then as I thought it was lacking in service and I didn’t feel very welcome as a non-Dane. I gave it another shot, and I thought it was a nice visit. This place is definitely more about the wine than the food, but the food is nice as well. Pretty straight-forward dishes without any larger surprises. Well prepared, nice flavours. However, in the evening the place gets very dark so it can be hard to see what you eat! Considering the shortage of alternatives nearby, I can recommend Adendum.

The restaurant is fantastic. Nicely set, beautiful décor, AMAZING service! So far, five stars! Then the food arrived. Not very impressed by the starting plates, so we got three mains(95kr each): Pork barbecue: Just fantastic. best pork BBQ I ever had! Braised calf ‘s cheek with lentil vinaigrette: I’ve never seen so much fat in a braised dish. My girlfriend had only a bite and freaked out! I was able to eat it, but wast almost 1⁄3 of it. Fish & chips, salad and remoulade: I really laughed when I saw that there were only 4 chips on the plate. 4!!! And the fish was way over and the texture was like paste. For desert we took Berry crumble with vanilla cream, which was horrible to me! It was so sweet that I felt my teeth falling and the after-taste was sour! I know that rents at Islands Brygge are expensive, but does not excuse the prices on this menu! the good news is that Adendum changes the menu often, so I hope next visitors will be luckier!
