Babylon Cykler

I had a very bad experience renting a bike from Babylon Cykler.
Three friends and I rented bikes while on vacation in Copenhagen. While the price was reasonable, the bikes were in poor shape and there was a very limited selection. My bike broke down a few hours after leaving the shop, stranding me across town and the shop was closed by the time I could get back.
The shop was also closed the next day (Sunday) and I was finally able to get a new bike on Monday. The owner was not in the shop that morning for the exchange but when I returned the new bike later that day, he accused me of intentionally breaking the first bike and threatened to charge me additional fees for repairs. He also threatened to involve the police, which I said would be fine with me at which point he backed down.
In the end, I paid for three days of bike rental and only had a bike for one day and also had to deal with the stress and drama of the owner’s accusations.
I advise everyone to stay away from this shop.
