A nice place to get lunch with friends or just to spend time working with a good cup of tea. It’s very close to Norrebro, the cool area of Copenhagen. I’ve ate the soup of the day with pumpkin and some smorrebrod with potatoes and smoked salmon and I’ve taste a very good ginger tea!

It’s been on my «places to check out» list for a whole. I was strolling past on a cold Saturday afternoon and decided to pop in. It gets pretty full… but it’s a cool vide. Some eating, some having a coffee, some on their laptops. Nice cozy atmosphere with a mix of sofas and tables. I had the brunch plate that is severed until 2. The other breakfast options are only served until 12:30 when the lunch menu goes into effect. It was a nice little plate of goodies consisting of meat, cheese, ham, yogurt, some fruit and a basket of bread. Definitely hit the spot. I’ll definitely stop in again when I’m in the neighborhood.

Good Danish open sandwiches but quite expensive. Good service and the places are well decorated — and thus hyggeligt.

One of my favourite Nørrebro places to meet up for a drink and a light meal. Love it in the summer when I sit at their sidewalk chairs. They have a great location and is always excellent for people watching. Also love it in the colder weather to sit inside at their many tables or by the window. The food is ok. I never come here specifically for the food, but I like that I can get something to eat with my beer or wine and not have to leave to find food. They have both wine and beer, so everyone’s happy. Sometimes there’s live music. And all the time, there’s a good crowd and good energy around Bevar’s. I mostly go to Bevar’s in the evening and use it as a bar, so I can’t speak to how it is as a coffee shop.

I love the interior — living-room style — and their beer selection. However always when I come here there’s a strange smell(from food?), which makes me not wanna stick around too long.

Yeah. I know I might be the lone voice here, but this is a three-stars place for me. It is the classic example of a place that could have 6 stars but only arrives to 3. And it’s a real shame because the environment is nice! I had the chance to drink and eat here. The entrance is quite visible from Ravnsborggade and the main room is lightened enough. The big table in the middle and the small ones around it compose an intelligent pattern. It’s suitable for the ones who want to drink, the ones who want to eat and the ones who just want to sip their coffee while working with their laptop. On the other hand the food is not so nice. The variety of beer is wide enough but the soup I had was bad. 56kr for a potato and chives with TWO(2) little pieces of bread and some salty butter. Come on! It’s not that the taste was bad. It didn’t impress me. There was some vague flavor of lemon, a hint of chives and that was it. The consistence was weird as if it was mixed up with some water and some sour cream. I don’t know. I don’t think I’d advice anyone to take the soup here. And I’m TRULY ashamed because the place is nice, the prices are OK and the staff is very professional. But it’s just a three for now. Time will tell :)

Had a nice brunch meal here with quality food for a fairly reasonably price(slightly pricey). Good vibe in the place though and a good place to maybe just chill and read or hang out with a few friends

My experience at Bevar’s is pretty much down to the 2 hours I spend here every 3 weeks with my writing group. Bevar’s is a pretty chill place with lots of different seating, at the bar, at a table on proper chairs, sofas, etc., but what a lot of peeps don’t know is, they have a small room at the very back with enough space to comfortably seat 3 people(4 tops) that can be reserved especially. You can even close the door and shut out the noise from the café so it’s perfect for small freelance business meetings as well as poetry readings. The food is pretty decent café fare, the bread is excellent, and they have a good selection of beer, wine and spirits for all budgets. Nice concerts once in a while too. Thumbs up for providing a perfect space for people to meet in public but allowing for privacy!

Nice place for coffee, cake and more. Indie interior + students with notebooks. Roger Whittaker whistles on the speaker — big plus.

A great café for getting some work done. The food there is a bit too expensive, but the coffee is good, and there is always space for just a few more people.

I came here to work on my final paper and it was a really great place to study. Unlike many other cafes, there were unlimited amounts of outlets which is necessary for me because my laptop battery is horrendous and needs to be plugged in at all times. I came in around 10:30am(an hour after opening) and there were a good amount of people already there. I noticed throughout the day, that many people come here to do their school work, by themselves or as groups. I ordered twice. The first was right after I arrived and I got their organic yogurt; it was okay and occasionally the oats would taste bitter and burnt. The second time I ordered was around 4pm and I got the potatoes with roasted onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, and chives. The portion was pretty small, but that is to be expected in Copenhagen. I highly recommend Bevar’s for doing work!

The beers are particularly fine. The warm candlelight and warmer conversations made for a great place to enjoy a fine Belgian on a cold night. WiFi for travelers and no hassle from the wait staff for taking a table with only drinks while a three pieces jazz band plays makes for a fine after dinner respite. Our two draft beers ended up 50kr each, but there are 25kr beers for those on a budget. Would come back!

I went here with my film club and really enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and wine selection! I had the salad of the day, which was a fantastic mix of bulgar wheat, mango, and fresh vegetables. The salad came with some delicious bread and pesto, which went well with the unique flavor pairings within the salad. The wine list is expansive, and they list descriptions of special wines on a large board near the bar. I was enticed by the description of a Rosé, and I’m so glad I chose it over my usual go-to red. The staff at Bevar’s definitely do their research when selecting wines, and I’ll be back to try more! The atmosphere was cozy but there was still room to move among the abundance of tables. We found a table for the eight of us, but it is definitely a place for smaller groups.

Is it a bar or a night club? The music is a lot too loud to have a chill time with friends and being able to hear each other. First and last time.

A really great hangout spot for doing work(come during the week and this is all you’ll see!), it also serves up some pretty cheap and delicious food & coffee. The décor is warm and homey, every table bedecked with well-used candles and there’s a sense of community despite the fact everyone is involved in their own work. In a city I’m only just beginning to understand, this is a haven for relaxation, hangouts, coffee-dates, etc.

This place is everything you want and need from a coffee shop. The design is gorgeous and there are plenty of tables. The coffee is strong and the food is decent(nothing super special for the prices). The atmosphere(at least on a Thursday afternoon) is chill. The wifi is free and fast. The location is just off of the main street in Nørrebro. But the most glorious thing of all is that THEREAREPOWEROUTLETSFOREVERYMANWOMANANDCHILD. I cannot sing enough praises to the bountiful number of power outlets in this lovely establishment. Gone are the days of your laptop dying when the one single outlet in the café is taken by some power-hogging conquerer who has essentially established a permanent settlement upon the electricity. You can work here without fear of that dude. And as a final plus, they take non-Danish credit cards. I am absolutely sold on Bevar’s.

What a cute place! Have been here few times and it always makes me happy to be there! And seems like this café even though it is quite new it has become one of the favourite places to go to around the area. I must say I haven’t eaten so I can’t comment on the food but I do like it’s furniture and design of the place. Very Nordic with different wooden chairs and cosy sofas. They also have good wine for quite good prices and there is free wifi for the ones who want to go with their laptop.

Great espresso, in the usual Danish prices. Pricey, but typically pricey everywhere. The vibe here is great. Lotsa cool seating, indoor and out. On a nice sunny day you won’t find a seat outside though, but that’s fine. You’ll still enjoy it. They have an English food menu, hanging near the espresso machine. Don’t think too hard about the Danish!

This is my favorite place in Copenhagen to sit and work. It’s so relaxed, and you can buy a coffee and sit with your computer for hours. If you get hungry, they have a really good range of different snacks. They have something for breakfast, something for lunch and something for dinner. I’ve tried all of it, and it’s all been great. The environment is really nice, and it’s always a lot of people here, sitting and working or holding a meeting. It’s light and the tables are perfect for working.

Bevar’s is, by far, my favourite café in Copenhagen. They don’t have coffee — just espresso drinks like americanos, lattes, etc. but my cup of americano with a bit of hot milk was just perfect. I went there twice within a couple weeks and they don’t seem to be very busy at all, which for me was perfect. I was working on my computer(they have free, reliable wifi) like a few others and the space was quiet and delightful. Their décor, including some Danish furniture, definitely gave a cozy vibe. I along with a friend who visited from Germany also had their croissant and breakfast set with bread, jam and cheese for a very affordable price. My friend said their ice latte was delicious. Wish I could take the whole place back home to Canada, seriously!
