Nifty place a little out of the way. You have to go through a courtyard and down some stairs, but there are cool glass sliding doors into the bar. The entry way with what seems to be a coat check and the black curtains felt a bit pretentious at first, but we just walked right through and it felt like a normal cocktail place. Drinks were mostly classics with some small twists, which is nice if you’re going for something somewhat familiar but want some uniqueness without feeling completely overwhelmed.

A new place for cocktails? I’m always up for trying out new places. This bar is hidden away in an alley, but when you find it and you get inside, you can quickly sense how classy the place wants to be, and what kind of cocktails they want to serve. Their menu card is somewhat limited, but leaves a lot of room for interpretation and creativity from the bartenders side — quite a clever move, compared to other places, where you have a card with 30 – 50 drinks. If you’re fairly sober, you immediately spot that every single drink has some«weird» exclusive ingredient. Their Old Fashioned was pretty good, not the best I’ve had, but pretty good. But their pomegranate cocktails mixed with some chocolate thing was by far the best drink they had on their card. Absolutely amazing. The evening I was there, they had two bartenders working and you could quite clearly see how much of a skill difference there was between the two bartenders. One of them was freehanding all drinks and had a certain flair to it, where the other one was quite insisting on measuring everything that went into the drink. That also resulted in my drinks also not being exactly the same every time(i had a pomegranate one from each of them). The difference was not big, but noticeable. I will definitely be coming back!
