Fu Hao seems to be quite an authentic Chinese restaurant near the central train station. The décor is very traditional Chinese style and the food is ordered by writing the quantities on a form with all dishes listed. The main menu is excellent because it actually contains pictures of each dish making it easy to order even if you’re not an expert in Chinese cuisine. We ordered some dimsum because wanted to grab something quick and small, and they were very good. Service was fast and friendly.

Stopped in for a cheap dinner(compared to sky high Copenhagen prices) based on the reviews. For $ 46, we got the shrimp dumplings, sui mai, spring rolls and two medium bowls of won ton soup. This poor restaurant was doomed from the beginning to fail against my high comparison standards to the great dim sum joints scattered throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Dim sum isn’t typically eaten for dinner, but hey, I like me a good, piping dumpling. The dim sum was not fresh, flavor was mediocre, there was too much won ton skin to meat, and the soup’s only likable feature was that it was warm. The service was fine, but Fu Hao won’t be making the must-visit list for us the next time we are in Copenhagen.

This place is really a hidden gem! It was my first time trying this place and I was really impressed. We ordered a bunch of the different dumplings and they were all so yummy. I really liked the steamed bbq pork buns of course and each plate had so much flavor. But what really impressed m is the value for money. The prices are very fair and the service was really fast. if you are looking for authentic dim sum in the city with good value for money– come here!

Quite authentic flavors compared to what’s available in Copenhagen. Dim sum are well made with nice texture and fresh tastes and their stir fry ho fun with beef is probably the best I have tasted in the city so far.

Yeah, 5 stars for Copenhagen standard. The highlighted dishes(my favorites) are 1. Steamed dumplings with beef 2. Cheung Fun Char Shiu 3. Fried rib roast 4. Deep-fried milk 5. Youtiao The steamed dumplings with beef are not something you will find in other dumplings restaurant, and it is superb. The fried rib roast, boy I can eat this as a snack, very crunchy and delicious. Deep-fried milk, it is actually a combination of coconut milk and cow milk, almost like when you eat desert such as Profiteroles. Left you wondering how they could deep-fry it without spilling the milk. But give it a try, you’ll know what I mean. delicious. Youtiao is what we called Char Kue in my homeland; it is a fried breadstick/doughnuts. We usually use it as a rice porridge topping. Of course, you could eat it as a snack as well. I have seen frozen one on the Chinatown store behind the central station. Cheung Fun Char Shiu or Rice noodle roll, this one is good to eat while it is still warm. It is filled with shrimp, pork, beef, vegetables and seasoned with soy sauce. This dish is similar to Bahn Cuon(Vietnamese rolled cake). For the drink, a cup of warm tea

We came to Fu Hao after we got treated really bad in the other nearby Chinese restaurant.(and people say that kind of bad service is actually normal in Copenhagen. Say what?!) There were 5 of us and all of us were super hungry so we ordered food like crazy. The fried duck was super. Although it could have been more moist. The Gong Bao chicken was A-MAY-ZING. The steamed prawn dimsum were big and delicious. The fried rib was tasty. Stirfried veggies were nicely cooked and spiced. Chicken feet dimsum was nicely done. And their chili sauce on the table was superrr nice. I kept digging for more! The service is good for Copenhagen standard. We got also refillable Chinese teas as our drink which tasted authentic. All in all, they turned our bad night from another restaurant into an enjoyable night :)

Dim sum was ok, but found metal washer in fried dumplings, lady was at a lost for words, all she did was take the item off the check.

No love nor hate for Fu hao. I craved dim sum and that is what I received. It wasn’t particularly good nor bad. This place definitely smells WAY better than the food tastes though. All the dumplings were really really doughy and didn’t let the shrimp or veggies shine through. The ratio was definitely off. The service is perfectly mediocre as well. Everything is quick. Back home this would be a 2 star restaurant but Denmark has some serious food inflation. Blah! Such mediocrity. The best is the best and the worst is mediocre.

Entering Fu Hao is like stepping out from a time machine. Old uncles in waiter suits come to take your orders. It feels like in the 1980s, especially with Teresa Teng songs in the background, everything feels surreal to me, but maybe that’s the kind of ambience needed for a hearty dim sum lunch here. Compared to other places, this place is not a number one option, but more like number two or three in quality. However, the price is cheap for dimsum, so I don’t understand how other reviewers thinks this is expensive, nope — not in(already expensive) Copenhagen.

I was at Fu Hao during my weekend stay in Copenhagen. Ordered a couple dim sum and was not impressed. The place felt early 90s, and this is confirmed by the sun bleached photos of the food, and the 90s cantopop music they were playing. The plates and cups also looked quite well used. The food was average. A bit too oily for my taste. The price was about 40 – 60 kr for a dish which I find a little to high for a low-end dim sum restaurant.

i’ve passed by this restaurant countless times, but for some reason i’ve never looked closer. luckily, i have a friend who has been coming here for years and he suggested it for lunch. the service was a bit reserved, but they were efficient and it was easy to get their attention. now for the FOOD. the custard buns were generously filled and cheung fun(rice noodle rolls) were delicious. my yard stick for dim sum restaurants, char siu bao(bbq pork buns) and radish cake, were absolutely perfect in texture and taste. we didn’t have a bad dish here. the price was also very reasonable; 330kr for 3 people. three really IS the magic number… when it comes to dim sum.
