Had heard and read so much about this place that I finally decided to take The Man here for the flæskestegssandwich. Even at 5pm, the place still had a lot of customers coming and going, and that is always a good sign to me. We ordered the classic Danish standard: flæskestegssandwich, fritter with mayonnaise, and cold Cocio. The Man was pretty pleased. He had a regular with the remo, and I tried the one with bearnaise. Yes, that’s right: bearnaise! It actually tastes good. The sandwiches were warm and the svær was really crispy. There was just the right amounts of red cabbage and remo/bearnaise. The fries were piping hot and covered in salt, so the cold Cocio really hit the spot. It’s a good place to go. Not gourmet, so don’t expect the meat to melt in your mouth. Not much place for sitting, but you can stand and eat. There are also mini sized burgers, so it’s kid-friendly, too

Walking back home after drinking and kebab is too mainstream? Have a burger here! So much better option. Quick, tasty, cheap and filling!

It’s a pretty small little restaurant, but it’s nice enough. Tip: There’s no bathroom, you have to use the pubic bathroom 50 meters away. I got the kebab with rice and this potato dumpling. The chicken was absurdly dry and the rice was okay. It was a little lackluster in terms of taste, but it was fulling enough. I asked if I could get this to go and the Danes behind the counter even asked me where I was from and made an attempt at small talk with me. Cool. I told them that I was an impoverished college student and they threw in this piece of fried bread/potato thing and as a result, all was right in the world.
