Organic pizza and drinks did you say? Don’t mind if I do! At least not when in such excellent mustachioed company as was occupying pizza hub, Neighbourhood, this chilly afternoon. Arriving fashionably late, I was a bit confused at first. I soon realized that I needed to speed up if I were to manage all the activities that were available. First there were name tags to put on, welcoming drinks(yummy, cucumber-y stuff) to be had, friendos to greet and pizza galore! This was followed by thinking up and writing down a place in Copenhagen that makes a difference, taking funny pictures with moustaches, glasses, etc and did I say there was lots of pizza? The food was great(I’m definitely coming back for that duck and cabbage pizza), the mustaches were ranging from Magnum-like manliness to cute and petite French style; all kinds one can hope for, and the company was amazeballs. Both the bartenders and the men who brought the goods(the pizza), were friendly and knowledgeable. It was also very much a nice thing that one could donate money for a good cause. There was also a little gift bag with cool mustache decorated effects for those who brought mustached men, who were previously not Unilocalers. A fun way to include potentital Unilocalers! Heavily under the influence of a super-cold, I still had the best possible time with so many friendly, funny and fantastic Unilocalers! I wish it was Movember all year around!

Cocktails and pizza YASSSSS, free good cocktail and pizza, even better!!:) It was my first Unilocal event, and I was pretty unsure to come, because I’m not a outgoing nor social person, and I’m terrified on meeting new people. The event went really smooth. We started off mingling near the bar table and had our first drink of cocktail. I’ll like to ask what kind of cocktail was it? It was kind of milky and there are some mint leaves on it. It looks cute, and the alcohol taste wasn’t too strong but mild. Then when I was looking for a mirror to check out my new mustache, I just realized there’s another room in this place, and a lot more attendants than I expected. So, it is actually pretty spacious. I like how they use woods as the main material of their furniture, and they use lots of candles, which brings out the ‘hygge’ definition. Finally we had PIZZA. We get to try different types of pizza, Christmas duck, pumpkin sausage, vegetarian, chili sauce and some other flavors. The dough was really crisp, even though I prefer the thicker and chewy crust. They have crisp crust because they tried to minimize the carbs in a pizza. I also like how they put lots of stuff on the pizza. My favorite one is the Christmas duck pizza, because I like duck meat:) Even it is a carnivorous pizza, you would still get a good amount of vegetables on it. and having organic veggies, even makes it better. I can say the ingredients are pretty fresh as well. In the end of the event, we are asked to write a place that changes our impression of Copenhagen. I had too much in mind, but I put the Botanical Garden in it. It is because I like how there is a part of green in the middle of Indre by, or close to the city center. I like all the plants there, and esp the green houses. Last Summer, I enjoyed lying on the grass to get some color on my skin. It’s a pretty chill place I think. I had a great time, and I hope to attend another event soon haha, thank you for organizing it:)

Who doesn’t like events with food and cocktails!!! And the food was just amazingly delicious! I have been now to few Unilocal events and I am always looking forward to see what is the next theme and place! This time it was the new organic pizza place called Neighbourhood, the theme was Movember and the dress code was black and white. Camilla had done a very good job organising the event! There was everything made into a shape of a moustache! There were a lot of people in this event and everyone enjoyed the food and drinks! It’s a pity the events last only two hours! Leaving the event I was full from all the pizza testings and happy to have been part of one more event. I look forward to my next Unilocal event, maybe even in another country!
