I tried Portugalo for the first time yesterday, and it was like a walk down Memory Lane. One of my favorite things to eat as a child was a Portuguese soup with chorizo and kale, and this was on the menu! I was so happy. It tasted almost like the soup my grandfather used to make, but it was lacking a bit of salt. I also tried the pork pieces with potatoes and Venus clams. I was surprised how tasty the combination was! I could have eaten more, but we still needed to eat some dessert. The Portugese sweet rice was similar to our risengrød at Christmas time, but it was much more yummier. The baked apple in Madeira was my favorite. I can’t wait to come back here for more!

I would have to give 3 stars just because it is so expensive, compare to if you eat all the food in the menu in Portugal. 3 course meal with a bottle of white wine you’ll be spending DKK1000, over USD200. Now don’t get me wrong, the food was delicious and so does the wine, but I know I can get the same kind of food for a lot less in Portugal. Now we know the reason that is expensive because in Denmark seafood is expensive. Anyway we(me and my husband) felt that staff was being really helpful, they recommended us which food to choose from the menu. The menu itself is divided into 2, lunch and dinner menu. They have a good selection of beverage
