Simply amazing! This place makes gourmet burgers. They are small but loaded with delights. They offer 9 different burgers each of which contains a delicious variety of meat and vegetables. I have tried all of the items and have still not been disappointed. Also, their fries are amazing. The mayo is superb. Even their pinot grigio is decent. But it is a fast food concept and with that in mind I think they are pretty darn perfect and definitely worth a visit.

Foodwise Sliders was absolutely perfect. I loved how the bun and filling were fused together in beautiful symbiosis until they finally were unable to be apart. Like eating burger poetry and my stomach simply could get enough. What a treat! But the room had the worst acoustics! I was trying to talk to my friend about our upcoming trip to Budapest and I still have no idea what she wants to see there! It wasn’t that it was just loud, but that the room just isn’t meant for this kind of thing. But the burgers… Sweet and tiny and ready to come straight down some lucky bastard’s throat!

I had to come give Sliders a try after seeing an article posted on Ibyen saying Sliders was voted the #1 burger place in Copenhagen. Had to come judge it for myself! I chose to get their 3 sliders + a side order for 119 kr. It was difficult to choose which sliders to pick. They have 9 different sliders which all sound so tasty! I chose: 1: Triple Truffle Cheese — This was my favorite! 3 different types of perfectly melted cheese, 3 types of mushrooms and truffle mayo! So good! 3: Sloppy Mama — This was my least favorite! The beef was too dry and I found it just overall to not be that exciting. 7: Jalapeño Cream — Super tasty! Jalapeño cream with balsamic marinaded strawberries and caramelized croutons. Such an interesting combo and it works perfectly! I chose a salad for my side with a vinaigrette dressing. The salad was pretty good. Walnuts, big slices of parmesan and pickled red onions. I didn’t even end up using the dressing as it didn’t need it! Lots of flavor on its own. I did take a French fry from one of my friends to taste it and I thought it was perfectly crispy!

I’ve seen the black paper bags with golden script flying along(and in) the lakes for a while now, so I figured it was time to try it for myself. First off, it is pretty loud in there when it is full AND someone was also playing piano. I had to shout my order and it was hard to hear the girl behind the counter as well. This is not the kind of environment that I enjoy eating in so we took our burgers to go. Eva K. and I split 6 of the 9 burgers offered; the beef patties are cooked perfectly with a little pink left in the middle and the bread is nice. More specifically: 1. Triple Truffle Cheese: This is my favourite! It deserves two exclamation points, it is that good. Not only does it have truffle, it has mushrooms as well and I am way into that. 3. Sloppy Mama: It was just OK for me. Unfortunately the beef was dry so you really needed the pickled red onions to save it. Crispy bacon! 4. Little Miss Fatty: Coming in at second place is a burger that comes with a crème made from roasted peppers, onion, chili, and almonds, and topped with crispy bacon and pickled zucchini. 7. Jalapeño Cream: This one placed third for me with jalapeño crème, strawberries marinated in balsamico, and caramelized ryebread croutons. It was creamy and spicy and the last ingredient won it! 8. BBQ Tender: A pulled pork sandwich with bbq sauce and coleslaw. Well-excecuted classic. 9. Butter Corn Beef: A burger with corn, cabbage, and rosemary and topped with more of that lovely crispy bacon. Nice combo! None of the burgers were bad, some where just less exciting than the others. The fries, however, are too. «chewy» for my liking. I got a salad and it was shamefully small! At least put some more iceberg lettuce in there to make it seem like more. And all the paper waste! Even when you dine-in, you still get your order all wrapped up. For those reasons I can’t give it five stars. But the burgers are great and I will be back for that Triple Truffle Cheese!

Mini burgers, what’s not to like? To be honest, I probably can’t enjoy full-size burger anymore due to my shriveled up stomach and the humongous size of burgers served here in Denmark, so mini burgers are just right for me. Mina K and I went to this place on a very windy Tuesday afternoon and we ordered the three mini burgers + side for 119kr which is totally OK for Copenhagen standard. We then split the burgers to taste. We had the triple truffle cheese, sloppy mama, little miss fatty, jalapeño cream, BBQ tender and butter corn beef. All of the burgers were good. Damn good. They knew how to make their meat(it was pink on the inside, just perfect) and the bacon was crispy, just the way I liked it, but I have two clear favourites: The Little Miss Fatty and the Triple Truffle Cheese. Those two were divines! The french fries side was good too. I had it with wasabi dip and although there was too little wasabi and too much mayo in it. Mina K complained that the fries got wilted too fast, but I wasn’t complaining. I like my fries big and fat and not skinny and hard like McDonalds xD I could’ve given this place five stars just for the food, although I’m not into burger scene that much, but decided to give four by now because we had a takeout instead of dining in and didn’t experience the(possibly slow?) service. One more thing that takes down the star was because everything was served in paper bag, also even when you dine in. Too much paper waste! The restaurant was fully packed on a Tuesday evening– surprise surprise! That must be because of the good food! I like the décor very much, it looks like a trendy restaurant(with a grand piano!) that you actually forgot that it IS a burger joint. I will definitely come back for bite-sized snacks.

After the dissapointing burger at «Cocks and Cows» i decided to try Another Coepnhagen burger joint and im glad i did. Sliders is a posh restaurant/lounge with good food and live Music. I had the deal with 3 sliders, fries and dip for 115 dkk if i dont remember wrong. The sliders where quite different where one was a normal beef patty, one was with duck and one with slowbraised beef in red wine. All Three was delicious and the mad genious in the kitchen who decided to pair balsamico drenched strawberries with hot jalepenos deserves a medal. Sooooo good! The fries where very very good and at least double fried wich makes them super crunchy. Good prices and nice waitresses is Another plus. Would love to go back.

Sliders is the most posh-as-f*ck Williamsburg hipster burger joint you’re going to find in Copenhagen. The artwork is etched in gold. The décor is reclaimed wood craft warehouse. When you get your food, it’s in an excellently shaped takeaway bag with each item individually wrapped and sauces and wet naps included. So A for design, effort and thoughtfulness. But what about the noms? There’s a host of sliders to choose from, and I had one pulled beef and one pulled pork that were alright, but the meat was dry and they were ultimately forgettable. But then the genius arrives. A mini burger with strawberries, jalapeños and — wait for it — jalapeño cream. T’was a delicious, wild, sweet, spicy thing of absolute beauty. You can opt for one or three sliders with fries and dipping sauce, and while I went with the latter, I could have easily been satisfied with just the magic strawberry slider and some chips.

I felt compelled to write a review after reading some of the previous comments and visiting Sliders myself. As an Australian living in Denmark, I was expecting some pretentiousness and attitude(as I have experienced in other restaurants) when I asked for an English menu(always a cringe moment). I couldn’t have been more wrong. I interacted with 2 different customer service girls, both were very friendly, polite, and happy to provide recommendations. I cannot fault their service in the slightest. The food was excellent. My friend and I sampled 6 out of 8 burgers on the menu. Every single one was a sexy mix of unique flavours. Number 1(triple truffle cheese) and number 6(ugly duckling) were particularly amazing. The burgers had a lot of creamy dressings on them — I personally think that adds to the deliciousness but it’s not for everyone. We got there at 6.30pm and there were still a lot of tables free, however the big table in the middle was full. Thanks to the staff for being so accommodating to a struggling foreigner, I will definitely be back.

Concept: Three small gourmet burgers instead of one big one. Sounds odd maybe, but it works and tastes superbly! You go in and stand in line to place an order. While waiting in line you may wanna scout for a spot to sit — there’s no designated seating, and a lot of the seats are at a long table(seats about 20 people), so be prepared to sit next to a stranger. The place can be pretty packed, but people don’t sit for very long so it’s usually possible to find a spot within the 3 – 5 minutes until the order is finished. When you order is done, your number(on your receipt) will be shout out and the waiter will come to your table with your burgers and fries in a bag — there’s no plates or cutlery. That is to say: ordering and seating happens basically in the same way as at McDonalds or Burger King but everything(the food, the packaging, the interior) is just a 1000 times nicer. You can choose between one miniburger(49 kr.) or three(139 kr.) with a side of salad or fries. As part of their concept you can get your fries sprinkled with gold flakes(yes, real pure gold) for an extra 50 kr. The burgers themselves are awesome(I didn’t like the one with jalapeño and strawberries though) and come in 7 varieties. For example there’s one with pork, apple and red cabbage(the best one I tasted) and one with duck and hoisin sauce(also really good). I definitely recommend it!

A very cool concept. They serve small burgers in a large variety, yet only serve a single type of beer: Tuborg Guld! I really liked the first burger«Triple Truffle Cheese», and some of the others were also pretty good. A few of the burgers were a bit too greasy for my taste. The place had free seating, no table serving, but a really cool atmosphere and a great view!

Really good and creative burgers. The fries was also really good and the dips were nice as well. The chili mayo was alot better than the wasabi mayo which was kind of a strange pairing to the fries but probably would have work great to a salad. Only complaint is 29 dkk for 25 cl of coke, get real bottles please and a lower price wouldn’t hurt. There was also a bit of a wait(maybe 25 – 30 minutes) but the place was completely full so it wasn’t too bad. 3 sliders, fries and a coke was close 150 dkk so it isn’t cheap but on the other hand it was really good so I think the price is fair.

Another great burger joint in Copenhagen and one that really impressed me. I got three sliders and a cone of fries for ca. 120 kr. that’s not bad, and given the quality(particularly of the burgers) that is not bad at all. The buns are the only thing that seems to be consistent between all of the nine versions they had on the menu — and it was light fluffy and excellent for soaking up the juices of the burger. It wasn’t a brioche(I think) but something else light and lovely full of eggs… the burgers came in so many varieties and the three I had were all excellent. Two were more pulled meat types(beef and pork) and the last was a classic beef-patty. All were delicious and if I hadn’t been full from the first three I would have ordered a forth one straight away. I wasn’t too impressed by the fries, but the four others I was there with disagreed — they loved both the burgers and the fries, so what do I know. the lack of space is a draw-back. We literally had to fight of a group of old ladies for a table to sit five and the line for ordering was massive — though we didn’t wait that long for the food.

Something has happened in Copenhagen. Restaurants have figured out that: 1. People want something delicious when they’re out to eat. 2.They don’t want to pay an exorbitant amount of money, 3. They want value for the money they pay 4.They don’t like to take big chances. Solution: The Copenhagen Burger Craze. Sliders is the new burgerrestaurant in town approaching the burger concept from a different angle. How about making the burgers smaller, and with different flavors, so people can taste a wider variety? This improves people’s perception of the place, and the opportunity of choices and flavor blends so perfectly with the concept of experience economy. The place is decorated pretty simple, long wooden tables. Kinda like a Caferteria de luxe. I tried the nr. 6, 8&9 on the menu(Hoisin Duck, BBQ Pork & Corn Beef). Of the 3 burgers i tried, the 6&8 were really really good, 9 wasn’t all that great, too sweet and lacked acidic taste(maybe a little tabasco imo). The prices are a bit steep. One slider(size of a McDonalds Cheeseburger) costs 45 kr. But you can’t have a fast-food restaurant without a little pricing strategy, so they have a menu with 3 sliders and a side-order of fries for 120 kr. The fries, however, are a JOKE(a bad one, in case you were wondering). They were below standard, and probably only serves as filling on the menu, creating more perceived value for the guest. I didn’t fall for it. So, Tasty-Burgers Horrible Fries Expensive Pretentious That’s a 3 right there.

Now, this is a bit of a tricky one. I am an absolute fan of burgers in general, and of sliders specifically — anything in tiny portions is just somehow more awesome. I also think their offer of 3 sliders plus one side for 119kr is fair — and a great chance to try your way through a third of their menu.(btw, my friend and I thought it would be really cool if they offered a sort of «try it all» menu, where you get all 9 sliders — could be a good one to share). Anyway — I was meeting my friend for dinner on a Wednesday. We first tried around 6:40pm, but the place was massively crowded and there was a huge queue at the counter, where you order the food. So we headed to a nearby bar to catch a drink, and tried again a bit later, maybe around 7:30pm. Turns out that was a good decision — it was still crowded, but at least no line to order. We ordered, and waited for our number to be called(I really feel for those poor guys having to yell at the top of their lungs!). Now, I get that they have been getting A LOT of publicity, maybe more than a startup restaurant can handle so shortly after opening. I also(kinda) get the concept of making this place very cool and informal, where you just grab your food and find somewhere to sit, maybe meet some new people at one of the large tables. But for me, it sort of ruins the atmosphere to have people standing around in their coats, eating their burgers from any countertop they can find(there were about 8 people around the grand piano, that inexplicably is placed in the middle of the room!). We surveyed the room like hawks while waiting for our burgers, and we finally found a spot to sit down — score! Now for the most important part: the food! The burgers themselves were really, really amazing. I had #3(Little Miss Fatty, with a perfect beef patty, bacon, and some sort of smoked pepper cream), #5(Big Poppa, braised beef with radicchio and redcurrants) and #8(BBQ Tender, with pulled pork and coleslaw). I’d have to say my favorite was #3, closely followed by #5, but I’d order them all again in a heartbeat. The fries were utter perfection; some of the best I’ve had so far. I also recommend the chili mayo! Summing up, I’m a bit torn. I would give five stars for the food alone, but the atmosphere took away a lot. We also didn’t stay very long, because it felt a little like the McDonald’s at Hovedbanegården at 3am on a Saturday — crowded and noisy — not really a place you want to linger! I would recommend Sliders, but make sure you don’t come at peak times, or take your food home with you, if you live close by.

This place is beyond amazing. If you are a frequent burger eater, you will love this place — amazing taste, variety, and atmosphere. This place gives you the full experience from order, to packaging to the interior :) Worth a visit — and a revisit ;))
