If you’re a foreigner citizen, wether you come to Denmark from within or outside EU, Statsforvaltningen Hovedstaden is a mandatory step to take.
This is where you come as a dane to solve divorce issues, enroll in childhood teaching courses for divorced parents and, as a student or a worker [foreigner indeed], to get your Residence Permit and, most important of all, your CPR. Without it you won’t be able to have a medical insurance, to work, to have a danish sim card for your phone… it pretty much solves every problem you have and it’s the first thing you need to start a life in Denmark.
I came here today at 13 and got out at 16. I like the laid back mentality, I really do! Everyone taking their time, being kind and patient.
It’s just kinda seems crazy to me that in an office with three people working at the EU immigration doors, ten people were served in 45 minutes. It’s kind of uncomfortable when you need to be somewhere else in little time. It’s even more uncomfy that they close at 16 o’clock and wether you’ve been served or not, they’ll ask you to go away.
So, this is three-​stars review just because of the time I had to wait in order to hand in a module and two papers.
But the courtesy and the mood in here are perfect. You preferably want to come here on your day off and VERY early in the morning, it’s better for your schedule and your mental health.
