Brasserie Storm is the only restaurant within the the Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers. I’d originally planned on having dinner here, but other than breakfast hours, Storm always seemed to be closed. When booking your room, you have the option of adding breakfast into your package. We decided we didn’t need this, but the morning of checking out, we were starving and had a long day of flying ahead of us. The buffet spread surprisingly had a decent selection of meats, cheeses, bread and pastries, eggs, juices(why are juices such a huge thing in Scandinavia?), sausages, and Scandinavian pancakes(my favorite of the spread). For the most part, everything was pretty tasty and very filling. The questionable thing, and this could be great or terrible depending on your perspective, is that the staff doesn’t keep track of the parties who have already paid for the breakfast package and the parties who are just walking in. Simply put, no one enforces anything and you can literally just walk in, eat, and leave without paying. There were only two staff members, both trying to play host, busser, and buffet manager(refilling food, cleaning the area, etc.) so I can see why hosting and keeping track of all the parties was probably the last thing on their mind. Or maybe it’s all based on an honor system and Danish people are just really trustworthy. Who knows? All I know is I love Copenhagen, and I wouldn’t mind returning to this hotel if I ever need to stay near the airport again.

A serious eat inside the Crowne Plaza Hotel with quality food and wine(try their organic Primitivo, I still can’t get over it). The offering is new nordic/international. I had a wonderful risotto. The reason I’m only giving two stars? The time it took to get my food! Mon Dieu! By the time I got my dish I was literally nibbling the tablecloth! Anyway, the food and wine were nice enough for me to be willing to give them another chance. I’ll keep you posted.
