Évaluation du lieu : 4 Frederiksberg, Copenhagen, Denmark
Friday night I found myself elbow deep in pie dough prepping for a dinner party at my house, hungry, but with no means to make myself anything besides… pie crust. Maybe it’s because my old roommate is from Umbria. Maybe it’s because I was so hungry I was approaching delusional, but authentic Italian take out(authentic being the key word here) looked like a good option considering my circumstances. Quattro Fontane Due has what I will, going forward, refer to as «single people solutions.» You go in, you pick out your meat and your two sides, you let them warm it up for you, you pay 60kr, and then you go home and you eat it. They give you enormous portions, so just do right by yourself and split it up into two like a smart person, and you’re set. I’m not sure it’s actually possible to get two nights worth of a balanced meal out of a grocery store in Copenhagen for 60kr. Which means Quattro Fontane Due is officially cheaper than the labor of making your own food. It’s pretty much like I’ve died and gone back to New York. I also bought some antipasti for the earlier mentioned dinner party — pesto, tapenade, and artichoke purée. All were divine and completely devoured.
