we came here for our first dinner in mallorca and were looking for a place to have some good fresh seafood. we ordered a variety of plates and tapas. fish bouillabaisse grilled wild mushrooms steamed mussels red peppers stuffed with fish and shellfish grilled squid in garlic sauce The soup was ok. The mushrooms were grilled on an uncleaned used surface by the taste of them. The mussels smelled horrible and also tasted quite suspect. The squid was just ok, it consisted of strips of possibly frozen squid and other miscellaneous mollusks. The peppers were sort of ok. But i had this weird recollection that the sauce tasted like that old frozen tv dinner called«chicken a la king». have u tried it? We complained about the mushrooms and mussels and thankfully they took it off the bill so they get one star for that. The other star is for merely existing since Unilocal doesn’t let you start with zero stars: P

Bestes Restaurant im Hafen! Etwas teurer, aber hier bleibt kein Wunsch offen! Mallorquinische Köstlichkeiten in hervorragender Qualität!

Figen

After a recommendation from a random local we met on the street(not a promoter) we went to this restaurant three times this week. We were not disappointed! The first evening we ordered the sea bass, cooked mallorcan style. The menu said it was for two people, but the dish would easily be enough for three persons. Non the least it was amazing! Second day we ordered paella. For me, this was the first time I eat paella in Spain(have tried it once in Norway, which hardly counts.) and in my opinion it was truly incredible here at the bodega! The waiter recommended a local red wine, Macia Batle from 2010 and it suited perfectly to the paella. The third and last day we ordered tapas. Potatoes with some sort of sauce on, meatballs, garlic shrimps, serrano ham, chorizos and chicken croquettes. If I would remove one dish it would be the chicken. It was okay, but that’s all. The serrano ham was heavenly! They have a lot of them air drying in the ceiling in the restaurant and the rest of the interior makes the visit feel like you truly are in Spain, and not in a heavy trafficked tourist village. We got a local red vine to the tapas as well, but I can’t remember the name of it. But it was spot on to the tapas, as the wine we got to the paella were. I would highly recommend this restaurant! The food and service is first class. It costs a bit more than the restaurants down on the beach, but you really get true value for the money!

Bodega D’es Port is a great restaurant, and very family friendly. We were traveling through Puerto de Alcudia and decided to stop and eat at this restaurant across from the port. The interior of the restaurant is cool with decorations from a Spanish Bodega(wine cellar). The restaurant is open-air with arched entrances that overlook the yachts in the port. My wife and I had Sepia(Cuttlefish) which was served with Patatas Bravas(Potatoes with a spicy tomato sauce. We also had Habitos con Jamon(Beans with Spanish Ham). Everything was delicious. The kids had spaghetti and chicken with french fries. The portions were generous and the food was hot and delicious. For desert we had the mousse and ice cream. The service was outstanding. There were actually three waiters serving our table; the head waiter and two others. It was a three course meal and as soon as we finished one course the waiters quickly brought out the next course. The only delay was at the time to pay. As with other restaurants in Spain, you have to ask for the bill. When the bill came, it was only 64 Euros(about $ 88) which isn’t bad for feeding a family of six in Europe. Overall, a great restaurant that I would highly recommend.
