Excellent food and service; good quality wine by the glass. In spite of being just next to the cathedral, Alcaravea manages to avoid the tourist trap feel so many of the other restaurants in central Avila have when passing (pictures of the food etc).

Very nice restaurant, excellent price value relation. Despite the waiters had a lot to do, they were always friendly. All portions very large, entries good to share. Homely, family oriented atmosphere. Great selection of wines from all over Spain. Full recommendation, a must visit when you are in Avila.
