Castellano: Un gran lugar para encontrar cosas de casa (EE.UU.). Es un poco caro, pero eso es lo esperado en la compra de las cosas que se importan. Las cosas que llevan son principalmente del Reino Unido, pero usted encontrará artículos americanos también. Voy allí cuando me siento nostalgia por el hogar.
English: Great place to find things from home (USA). It’s a little pricey, but that’s expected when buying things that are imported. The things they carry are mainly from the UK, but you will find American items as well. I go there when I’m feeling nostalgic for home.

Located just 100yds from my flat, I was pleasantly surprised (and quite excited) to find out that an English supermarket was so close to me. Expecting it to be more like a little shop, I soon found it was not — it was actually a supermarket!
Stocking many familiar brands on a whole range of stuff, it’s a nice experience after months of not seeing anything British to suddenly be surrounded by all this! A taste of home in fact! I think I may have spotted some American, German and Dutch things too, but the majority was British. Upon leaving, I also noticed that they offer some kind of service for satellite so people can watch British TV here in Barça.
I swear there was something British about the guy working here (the owner?) too as on the only time I spoke English, he called me ‘mate’ with a slight London accent. Could be wrong though. If it’s the case, then it’s a very British shop!
Only bad things, I would really say are about the prices and the lack of Cadbury branded chocolate (which is as British as a brand can get!).
Overall a good place if you need some UK home comforts!

Si eres un apasionado de la comida inglesa (si es que alguien puede serlo), o si viviste tus años mozos en Londres trabajando de camarero mientras aprendías el idioma, y ahora tienes nostalgia por los productos típicos, puedes pasarte por aquí.
Imagínate si es inglesa, que su dependienta ni siquiera hablaba español (a un inmigrante no-europeo le tacharían de falta de adaptación), y es como un mini-market normal, pero solo de productos del Reino Unido y del norte de Europa.
Nota: tienen otro establecimiento en Sitges.

Descubrí esta tienda gracias a una amiga que, después de vivir varios años en Londres, a veces le cogía nostalgia y venía aquí a comprar té y galletas, en puro english style.
Supermercado de géneros provenientes de Inglaterra, Estados Unidos, Holanda y Alemania, abierto en el 2008 en el corazón de Barcelona, A Taste of Home tiene una variedad de más de dos mil productos entre comida, salsas, dulces, especies, conservas y mucho más. Y de optima calidad, a un precio, que para ser artículos todos importados, no está tan mal.
A veces voy para probar cosas nuevas y hacer experimentos culinarios o simplemente para comprarme algunas de estas buenísimas galletas alemanas cuyo ingrediente principal es la mantequilla, que las hace tan ricas.
Para nostálgicos de los sabores de su tierra o para quien quiere probar gustos nuevos sin viajar!

I have to agree with prulo above re: the grumpiness. Though not outwardly hostile, I nevertheless found the ambiance rather chilly — from the need to ring the bell to gain entry (plus they have to come to the door and physically open it, instead of just buzzing you in) to the unsmiling bloke manning the register. My attempts at small talk and pleasantries were met with awkward silences. Oh well. They have a few items I might go back for, but only in a pinch.

Nice clean supermarket, well presented with fabulous range of products (over 2000). Lots of vegetarian products, quorn, Linda McCartney, Ainsley Herriot etc. Lots of luxury products, some dutch, German and American products.
Lots of choice of teas and hundreds of different cooking sauces. Also for anyone interested in baking — lots of interesting flours and mixes. Also a range of over 100 different herbs and spices. A valuable find. Prices reasonable
