A este lugar yo lo llamo «La Perla Libanesa de Sarrià». Seguramente si vas un poco rápido te lo pases y te pierdas esta gran delicia de Oriente (está justo en la esquina con c/​Calvet).
Vivo muy cerca y cuando la vagancia por prepararme algo me acecha, me dejo caer por aquí. Es un fast food de calidad. Soy constante y uniforme; siempre lo pido para llevar (el lugar es bastante pequeño, unas 3 o 4 mesas, por tanto es la mejor opción) y siempre me pido lo mismo, shawarma con hummus picante (3,80 €) y dos croquetas (unos 3 €). Es pura delicatessen, al ser libanés la carne que ponen es totalmente diferente a otros shawarmas que hayas probado. No sé si son las especias, o el tipo de carne; pero su sabor es único.
El servicio es rápido, particularmente me gusta más el chico joven ya que me carga más de carne y eso es algo que valoro. Suele haber cola, pero en menos de diez minutos ya lo tienes en tus manos.

This is a tiny hole-​in-​the-​wall where if you blink, you miss it. I’ve lived in the neighborhood several years, and have never noticed it. Ever!
Until one afternoon last week — I saw the order window right there at the sidewalk, and noticed the Falafel (which is exactly what my mother had been craving and asked me to find her a few days ago). Perfect! I grabbed a card, found out they’re open until 3am — for those late night noshes if you’re making it a night of drinks in the Galvany area.
You can choose from shawarmas to kebabs to falafel… either in sandwiches, or as plates. There are a couple of tiny tables inside, but not much ambiance. Just order at the window at the sidewalk and take the meals to go (or «take away» for the non-​Americans).
My mom was satisfied with her sandwich. So if you’re in the area, hungry for falafel, and don’t want go too far, this is a good option. I don’t think I’d ever consider this a destination. But I’m glad to know it’s here.
