This is a great place for brunch but the place is very small and you’ll most likely have to wait for a table. Food is good but the menu is very short and doesn’t seem to change ever so if you’ve been here a few times you’ve tried everything pretty much. There’s not many vegetarian options so keep that in mind. Cute little place for a nice brunch with friends but it’s always crowded.

Best brunch I’ve had in Barcelona. Small portions but healthy and delicious. It’s only a few blocks away from the Llacuna(L4) stop near the best parts of the wonderful Poblenou neighborhood. It’s a must go!

Had the Bio Yogurt with various fruits, fresh cream, and honey, it was fantastic! Also tried the eggs Benedict, which were masterfully done(poached not fried).

Food was amazing the service was great as well Staff was very polite with my poor attempt at remembering high school Spanish and politely started speaking English and said it was ok. She did seem to appreciate my effort. My husband and I split the yogurt with seasonal fruit granola and honey and the eggs Benedict The yogurt was delicious not the usual American over sweetened it was creamy and the fruit was apples, bananas, and fresh raspberries the honey added the perfect amount of sweetness and the granola was great for texture The eggs Benedict with bacon was amazing the egg was perfectly broached and the bacon add the perfect amount of smokiness and salt it was topped with diced green onion and arugula that only enhanced the flavor. The potatoes that accompanied the eggs were amazing and I am pretty picky about potatoes. They had the perfect crunch on the outside and were just lightly seasoned and on the inside the potato was perfect. The salad was nice lightly dressed and refreshing. The coffee was hot and great my husband had a latte which he enjoyed

Coming from the states with a very mix culture of food resources, this was the best breakfast I have ever had. The food was so great that I came back the next morning risking missing my flight. The service was great and everyone was amazing! Super nice people who always had a smile on their face and the owner from Brazil had the best energy(:

Bueno.definiciones a parte.

ESPECTACULAR!!!

I loved it oh so much! Service, food, ambiance — it has this amazing vibe, when you don’t quite know what is it, but you feel so comfortable that you never want to leave. I have ordered poached eggs with salmon on English muffin, and these were the best poached eggs I had in Barcelona! I also really need to find out the recipe for their hollandaise sauce– it was sooo good, I almost ordered the second serving of it! I have also seen their burgers(with fried chicken or veal) — they did look good. And of course, like any place specialized in brunch, they have pancakes and french toasts — kitchen space is opened to public so you can see a cook grilling these beauties, and the smell of freshly baked pancakes dusted with sugar overfills the café and makes it even dreamier:-)) Take in mind — they are closed in August, so plan your visit in September.

Found this place on Unilocal with only 3 reviews but it was a 5min walk from the apartment I’m at so decided to go. It’s on the corner — of a not so busy street but neighbor bustling neighborhoods. So it’s got kind of a hipster vibe going on– but not subtle. Our waitress was very cool and spoke great English. Menu items looked great and the specials of the day were on an index card. It’s a small but open space and constantly full. You can see all that’s happening in the kitchen. The staff as whole is eager to help, friendly and suggestive. The Jack Russell mascot who meanders around waiting for someone to drop something is probably one of the funnier parts. No one is annoyed by him and he doesn’t annoy anyone. The food was incredible — I haven’t had a good brunch in a while. Balanced flavors that can fit any of your cravings– savory or sweet. Can’t remember the names of our meals, but I’ll post pics.

Amazing breakfast/brunch! The waitress said after taking 4 minutes to get my coffee: «I’m sorry it’s late. When it’s made with love it takes more time». Recommend the eggs benedict, the onion rings and the pancakes. Will definitely come here again!

It’s in the ‘non-touristic’ area which I liked. Most of the people there seemed like locals. The staff were really nice and I liked the fact that it was an open kitchen. I had the ‘French Toast’ ‘Greek Yogurt with Granola and Seasonal Fruit’ ‘Americano Black’. All three were fantastic. Fresh, warm and the plating was absolutely on spot. It was visually beautiful and it tasted as good as it looked.

Can Dende was highly rated on TA so we thought we’d give it a go for a late breakfast. We ended up going here twice while in Barcelona this time. I found it to be a very small but very friendly café. The staff were great and they were even dog friendly with the resident dog and visitors wondering freely in and out. On the first visit I had the Bacon Eggs Benedict which came with a little salad and some sautéed potatoes. The missus had the«Dende» which turned out to be a massive plate of ham, eggs and homemade thick cut crisps!(Along with more salad and some spinach). All of it was really tasty. The wife also had pink lemonade to drink which was delicious; made with homemade lemon, homemade berry purée topped off with loads of ice and a splash of soda water. On the second visit(this morning) I had a café con leche which was lovely and the wife, again, had pink lemonade. To eat, the wife ordered pancakes with red berries minus the crème fraîche and maple syrup. It was probably a language thing but what turned up was pancakes with crème fraîche and maple syrup. The waitress noticed the issue just as she places the dish and promptly rectified the problem. I had pancakes with fried eggs, bacon and crème fraîche. It came layered pancake, bacon, egg, pancake etc and it was topped off with some crème fraîche and spring onions. It was fantastic. I added a little of the maple syrup which came with the wife’s food and it was just lovely. If you’re in the Glories area or nearby I highly recommend the trip to Can Dende. You’ll be hard pressed to find a better breakfast/brunch.
