This is by far one of the better Indian Restaurants in the Barcelona, Spain area. The service coupled with the authenticity of the food was great. The staff spoke English with us and were very welcoming. Absolutely loved the ambiance of this restaurant. There were probably no more than a dozen tables however each one of the tables had the feeling of intimacy and privacy. The lighting was perfect.
We ordered the Julundar Seekh Kebabs for the starters and were blown away by its taste. I was able to taste the different spices that were used to prepare these. For the main courses we ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Jinga Takakat (Prawns Tikka). These two dishes had their own unique blend of spices which we weren’t used to however we were glad that we were able to taste the exquisite spices used to prepare them.
These dishes were had with some cheese naan and then finally topped off with some delicious Gulab Jamuns as dessert.
Sindur is small and cozy but left a good memory in our minds and tastes.

Mal acostumbrada como estaba a ir a supuestos restaurantes indios que parecían más empeñados en hacerme una úlcera de estómago que a sorprender mi paladar, el Sindur fue un agradable descubrimiento y una oportunidad para probar la gastronomía del norte de la India sin salir de Barcelona y en un local que te transporta hasta allí. El trato es cercano y atento y la carta tan variada que lo mejor es dejarse aconsejar por el camarero, que lo hará con mimo. Se trata de un local intimista por lo que puede ser una carta en la manga para sorprender a tu pareja descubriendo nuevas culturas sin cruzar la frontera. Si quieres probar sin asumir mucho riesgo, pásate por el Sindur cualquier laborable a mediodía y descubrirás un menú asequible y comercial perfecto para introducirte en este mundo de especies y nuevos sabores. ¡Es interesante también que ofrecen servicio de take away y de cátering!
