The Urban Suites

Urban Suites will feel like home away from home.
ROOM
The suite we stayed in was awesome and felt like a very modern condo with a chic and functional design. The sleek white modern décor and furniture meets the colorful blinds and just is very appealing to the eye. It felt very clean, spacious, and comfortable for the four of us. Additionally, the suite was fully equipped so it was perfect for our medium length stay. There was a bedroom, a roll-​out bed, a spacious bathroom and a nice kitchen/​dining area. The kitchen is fully stocked with all types of utensils, a modern stove, microwave, and oven.
Climate control was a blessing just because the weather in Barcelona in September was very unpredictable. On the hot, humid days, the built-​in AC panel has several features to make the temperature in the room very comfortable.
Wi-​fi is free but when we went they were resetting the system password which meant that there were hiccups in the speed and access. Nevertheless, the staff here worked hard to get the wi-​fi up to speed and if you ever have issues, they are more than willing to help.
Also, the room is very technologically functional where the blinds and lights can all be controlled by various switch panels around the suite.
LOCATION
The convenient location of the Urban Suites is fantastic. You are mere minutes away from all public transportation. We were walking distance from the Sants train station and close to the Tarragona Metro station. Our taxis had no trouble finding us and the taxi fare from Urban Suites to Las Ramblas was very cheap at around 7 euros.
Being near the train station was additionally beneficial when we wanted to take a train to Figueres to check out the Dali Museum.
Plus, there is a Mercadona (market) nearby for stocking up on water and other essentials.
SERVICE
Concierge and staff were wonderful. Raquel was especially amazing. They helped us plan a lot of things, book tickets for attractions, and no matter who is at the desk, you’ll find someone very knowledgeable and eager to make your stay in Barcelona as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
Even though we were early for check-​in, they were even willing to watch all four of our luggages while we explored the city.
They can help any type of traveler from the backpackers to the family of four. Plus, I saw guests from various nationalities and the staff was able to help them too without any hesitation. Can’t say enough about the service at Urban Suites, they just made everything easier for us!
Overall, I felt like I could stay at Urban Suites for a month but our two day stay was very pleasant. I would recommend the Urban Suites for anyone traveling to Barcelona as they truly make everything better.
