Pan’s & Company

I am only writing this review, because on any trip to Spain you will see these Pan & Company’s littered throughout the city… So what is this joint? It is basically Spain’s answer to Subway. Apparently Subway gave Spain a run some year’s back and the franchise failed (except in heavily tourist populated areas) since it was «Spanish-​Style»…
Basically Pan & Company uses a different type of bread (which is worse than Subway’s in my opinion) and uses more local meats (Jamon Serrano, etc…), but is not that far off from a Subway experience… This particular Pan & Company was close to my office so I found myself there once or twice a month. The service is fine and they apparently have service in English, Italian and French (or at least menus). They can be a bit slow at times and during lunch time the line-​ups can be fierce, but otherwise it is what it is, a cheap fast food alternative!
