Barceló Málaga

This hotel is really nice, the first thing I noticed was a slide from the second floor down to the main lobby; of course I went down the slide. The bar/​lounge area was decorated very hip. I felt like I was in a Britney Spears video. There is a gym that overlooks the sea. Our room was very nice with free wifi. This hotel is close to the beach and it’s also located next to a mall; also nearby a bus station; which made walking distance friendly!

Es un buen hotel, nada de especial excepto por su ubicación.
El restaurante es bueno, y muy bien atendido, tampoco es extraordinario, ni «para morirse uno».
Me centro en las habitaciones, el servicio, y el bufé del desayuno, el típico bufé, correspondiente a la categoría del establecimiento.

Nice hotel in Malaga. Close to the train station and the city centre is not far away. Given the choice I would look around but not bad for a business hotel.

Gutes Hotel direkt neben dem Hauptbahnhof, von dem man nichts mitbekommt. Mit dem Hochgeschwindigkeitszug ist man in 45 min. In Sevilla und 55 min in Córdoba :)

If you are in Spain, you really need to hit Costa Del Sol (The South Coast)… now when you get there you will have several options and Malaga is a pretty good one if you are on a budget. It is the largest city in the South, has great beaches and lots of restaurants, things to see, but of course, comes with the ills of being a larger city. Other options include Marbella (high-​end), Tarifa and Cadiz.
Now the Barcelo hotel is a pretty famous chain and we chose this hotel mainly due to the fact that it was right beside the train station and therefore, easily accessible. We didn’t plan to spend all day at the beach and rented the city tour bus to get around. We paid 160 EUR for 2 nights and the hotel is very new and clean. When you are walking out of the train station, you simply need to exit on the right side, turn right and walk about a minute down the street (the barcelo is connected to the train station so easy to find (there is no noise from the station by the way). Inside everything is very new and trendy so to speak, but this is partially due to the inconvenience of getting to the beach — you will not be able to walk there, as it is quite a mission to say the least — if you plan to be at the beach all day everyday and want to be where most of the happening clubs/​bars are, then this would not be the hotel for you. (This is the reason for 4 stars).
On a very positive note, we asked the front staff where we could go for good local food and they gave us great advice. From the train station the tourist beaches are to the left side while the local beaches tend to be to the right side… Now from the Barcelo it is about a 15 to 20 minute walk down to the beach on the right hand side and at night this is where the locals go to get amazing local seafood at restaurants on the beach — the food really want unbelievable here and very reasonably priced. Again, almost all locals so a bit of Spanish would serve you well!

Divertido hotel que tiene un tobagan que baja una planta, para poder entrenerte un rato. Totalmente de diseño como puede ser la recepcion y la zona de cafeteria o hall, que simula como si estuvieras en una zona de termas o jacuzzi por los asientos. Amplia variedad de salones desde salones grandes a pequeñas salas, para reuniones, congresos, bodas, almuerzos se trabajo .etc. Un salon de los desayunos muy atractivo por la variedad de productos. Con un restaurante gastronomico muy elegante donde poder disfrutar de una velada agradable, buen servicio. Las habitaciones impresionantes, con unas camas muy grandes y bien comodas.

Es el mejor hotel de ciudad de la capital. Tiene 221 habitaciones y 16 salones. Las habitaciones estan totalmente domotizados. El centro de convenciones tiene lo ultimo en referencia a material audiovisual. En el hotel se encuentra el restaurante Anden, uno de los novedosos restaurantes gastronomicos de la ciudad; terraza en la que poder disfrutar de un buen cocktail. No tiene piscina, pero tiene un tobogan por el cual bajar desde la primera planta a la recepcion.

we stayed here for three nights. the hotel lobby looks fantastic but the bar area isn’t really functional. we sat for 15mins before we had to go over to reception to ask for a waiter to appear. the rooms are nice and comfortable, massive bed and great bathroom facilities, massive shower and bath. laptop safe and minifridge. all good. looking forward to using the big slide in reception to check out tomorrow!

hotel urbano. Para mi gusto muy conceptual. Esta cerca del centro andando y al lado de la estacion de autobuses y tren .El desayuno esta incluido en el precio

Un hotel vanguardista, con un diseño exquisito, perfectamente integrado en la estación de tren y con todos los detalles para que disfrutes tu estancia desde el check-​in. Tiene un salón de convenciones grande y bien equipado y un tobogán para que puedas acceder a la entrada desde el salón del desayuno. Más que recomendable.
