HORRIBLE!!! I am amazed how this resturant is still open. I have never written a review neither nor walked out of a resturant! We were the only ones eating here and now i can imagine why, the waitress was snappy and so rude i ordered a lunch special but didnt see its only served monday through sat. And it was a sunday. She rolled her eyes huffed and puffed and said no u cant well it will be extra dollar ok? I said yes and she said extra dollar ok? Again. And I said ok. As she refilled my husbands drink beside me she almost hit my reaching over to hand him the drink. No apology no nothing. Then my sister ordered and number 5 that she thought was suppose to be be a quesdilla but turned out to be a enchilda for her two year old daughter. As she walked up with our food she just stood their and said move that, referring to my neices cup and said enchilda? No one responded because we didnt think anyone ordered that we thought we ordered a quesdilla, then she said with a very rude tone enchilda! Again. My sister said i thought it was a quesdilla the waitress said no its not its enchilda ill show u right now. So she showed my sister and my sister said ok and she said is it a problem? Then my mother in law stepped in and said r u the manager because it sure does seeem like a problem because u have been giving us attitude from the start. And we left our plates on the table and walked out never have i ever been treated this way as a customer. I hope u shut down for good DONOTEATHERE!

Very poor customer service, tried to like this place. Frequent mistakes from kitchen. I have gotten an upset stomach several times after eating here. Not very authentic.

I have yet to be disappointed in anything I’ve had here. The quesadillas are full of flavor and a generous size. The drinks are quality, service is friendly and fast.

Much to our dismay, El Pueblito had closed so we tried«The 2 Colts». This had all the elements of an episode of Kitchen Nightmares. Restaurant was virtually empty and had to wait for a table. The waiter was inattentive and more focused on texting than waiting on the only table in the bar area. The décor was dated, dusty and deteriorating as evidenced by the enormous rip in the booth seat. The food was mediocre at best and found the tomato salsa had the taste and consistency of marinara sauce from a jar. There are several other Mexican food restaurants in the area and I wish we had gone elsewhere.

My wife got very sick after eating lunch there today. Possible food poisoning.

It’s always a good night when you go to Los Dos Potrillos. The food is great and the service is very speedy. They have a good selection to choose from on their menu, my favorite is the nachos with chicken. It’s an appetizer, but it leaves leftovers for lunch the next day. They have outdoor seating which is great during to sit outside and have dinner and some drinks.

Los 2 Potrillos is a standard menu Tex-Mex Mexican restaurant. My family frequents all the Mexican restaurants in the Sandhill’s community as well as any new ones we find on travels, so we have a good comparison list. We find Los 2 Potrillos to be consistently the best of the category. The service is fast, courteous and clean and the food, while common to anyone who frequents Tex-Mex establishments, is excellent. Always hot, always fresh and always presented well. The chips are standard fare(out of a bag and not particularly good) but they serve it with Pico de Gallo that helps make them better.(The best chips in the area are the freshly fried ones at La Poblanita). And to make a good thing better, the prices are as good as any in the area. Lunches are $ 5 – 7. My favorites are the chicken enchiladas and the Mexican rice. Good Stuff! Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.
