This is an OK park for a one night stay while traveling through on I-20. Very easy on and off the freeway makes it a very convenient stop for tired travelers. On the other hand, that convenience also leads to very loud road noise from the freeway. There are a lot of permanent dwellers living there in RV’s giving an unkempt look for the whole park. What was once gravel roads and sites are now mostly dirt. Like I said earlier, it is OK for a one night stay but I would look at other options if I was going to stay in the area and explore the Abilene area.
