Wow. Far exceeds the quality of other bbq places. Great flavor and texture of the chopped brisket sandwich. The sauce is tangy and not overly sweet.
We also tried the fried chocolate pie, which tasted great, but not at $ 2.99 for a small portion.
There was a great selection of menu options including catfish all day.
The patio is enclosed, with screened windows, and a pool table.
Alcoholic beverages are available.
I look forward to returning to try the burgers.
Lots of families, including small kids. Just a great hangout place in a small beautiful country setting. Very friendly people and quick service.

Best ribs EVER! Smoked perfectly and super tender. Tader salad was spot on. Mom enjoyed the chopped beef sando. No fat in it at all which was awesome. Will always go back when I am in town.

First time to try this place last week after everyone telling me how good it was I decided to give it a try. The outside was a bit off putting but once you get inside it’s an awesome small town BBQ joint serving amazing food. I got the chopped brisket plate with 2 sides. A little pricy but worth it if your in the area looking for some great BBQ and a cold beer.

Good food, great atmosphere. Awesome catfish and brisket. If taking your order to go, just be sure to double check it before you leave. Even if it is incorrect or isn’t complete they go out of their way to fix it for you!

If you feel like a short drive out in the country, Jojo’s is the place for you. Good bbq and better burgers. The staff is friendly and they will happily serve you a cold beer! A very relaxing place where you can kick back and enjoy yourself on the patio. And don’t forget the pecan cobbler. It’s good!

Always good BBQ and on Friday great catfish. Food comes out hot and fast. You can have a beer, sit inside or out and hear the fish cooking.

Food is soooo good! This isn’t too far from my house so I usually order pickup from them a few times a month! The fries are awesome — that perfect browned just enough grease! My favorite is the Bbq sammich but I’ve been told the burger is good too. One of these days I’ll try that.

Ordered brisket, ribs and sausage. I’m a competition bbq cook and I can tell you I would NEVER have served ribs that were as dried out at the one I got. Since I’m on the subject of ribs they were extremely over smoked and too salty. Brisket leaves a lot to be desired too, the brisket didn’t have nearly enough smoke and was overcooked as well. Sausage was eckeridge sausage they threw in the smoker and over smoked the hell out of it. BBQ sauce was surprisingly good, had a nice balance of sweet and tangy. Coleslaw was good and beans were plain jane… I’d recommend if you’re looking for BBQ in the Abilene area you should go elsewhere. Probably won’t be going back for the bbq.

Easy to get to, open parking lot. Come early or you ‘ll be eating on the patio! Friendly folks, clean place, Ice Cold Drinks! Old fashion hamburgers, be sure you are hungry if you order a double burger. Dang they are big, and juicy! Today we ordered chopped BBQ sandwiches one with fries and one with onion rings. Dang good fries! My kind of place for home comfort food!

Best ham ever, like butter! The smoked sausage and brisket was delicious and the side were great. BBQ sauce was a good balance of sweet and savoury. Jo, the owner was so nice, the food is a 4.5 but she bumped it up to a 5. It’s a little out of the way, but worth the trip.

Too many buts. The catfish breading was thick and top notch, but there was only 1/​8″ thick catfish inside at best. The ribs were very tender and the BBQ sauce was good, but there was NO smoke within miles. Earning a second star, one of the women in our group seemed to enjoy looking at the cowboys that frequent this place. Not going back.

This place is great, family-​owned, small and cozy, and has the best catfish I’ve EVER had. I dare you to make better catfish!
