A great place for a movie or concert. Takes you back in time. Only complaint is the seats — they need to go!

I’ve only been here once for a work function where they showed a Christmas movie, I can’t remember which one! But this place was adorable. It’s older, so it feels a bit small, but the architecture is awesome. It’s a great experience! Definitely check it out.

This place is an oasis of culture in a desolate landscape. The ceiling is beautiful, and is a treat compared to the theaters of today. They did a very good job rennovating this piece of history. My boyfriend and I went to see the screening on Indiana Jones. The theater was not quite dark enough, but we still enjoyed it immensely. One of the employees played the theme song to Indiana Jones during the intermission.

The Paramount Theatre offers free selfguided audio tours. It guides you through different floors of the Paramount Theatre(not the auditorium) and into the garden. John Lithgow is the narrator of the audio tour and does a good job. The Paramount Theatre is quite spectacular and is definitely worth visiting.

Apiece of Abilene history you really need to see. Completely remodeled, it is just wonderful. Went to see 3 Doors Down and the sound was great. Only 4 stars because the seats are Really small and I’m a big guy. Very uncomfortable the whole concert. They show lots of classic movies and is really worth going to.

3 Doors Down was excellent. Really enjoyed the concert. The only complaint is the seating is ridiculously small. The chairs barely fit a person 5’9′ and definitely cater to smaller people.

The Paramount is everything you should miss about modern day theaters; it is a little diamond in the rough. Well kept, old theater with the old time balcony. They show old movies here like Hitchcock, etc, live theater, and concerts. Glad we happened upon the Paramount!
