AWFUL bar. Only second time here. Full of perverted old men. Literally had three(PINTSIZED) beers in a span of about 4 hours. Went to the bathroom to talk on my phone and when I came back my beer was gone and was told I got cut off. Won’t be wasting my time and money there ever again.

Love this chilled bar! Bar tenders are very accommodating !! We have been coming here since Jan. 2015, cold beer, great shots !!

A bar that doesn’t feel very comfortable. Bright lights, no real spots to lounge besides hard wood chairs. No descent beer on tap or in bottles. I know they just reopened but get it together! The ONLY redeeming thing is that smoking hot bartender with the leg tattoos, and even then she’s sort of rude.

I was going to rate this place 1 star because it it awful, dreadful, and country… but the hot bartender with the x’s on her legs made up for it. It’s a place that plays nothing but country music and just has country people two-stepping to every dang song… I decided to play one non-country song on the jukebox by The Peaches and he turned off the music until the song was over until it would fit the backwoods crap they wanted to hear. He halfway redeemed himself by offering me and my friend a shot on the house. I never want to go back because pure country isn’t my scene, but I do have to give props to him for trying not to totally push customers away. But if you are a big country fan, by all means, this is a cool place!

***(Late review, went to this bar in Dec 2013)*** Last time I went to Abilene(two years ago), I went to a bar and I felt like I traveled back in time all the way to 1910! The bartender ignored me the whole time(maybe because I am Asian) and never asked for what I wanted to drink till after half an hour later(coz the bartender made his friends’ drinks first, even though I got there WAAAAY before them). ANYWAY, The Station is THETOTALOPPOSITE of that bar!!! My nephew, Troy, highly recommended this bar. I walked in, looked around and liked the vibe of the bar immediately. The Station reminded me of some of the bars I go to here in California. Then, I sat in the bar(yes, I was by myself), and the bartender asked me what I wanted to drink at once. WOW!!! I was so surprised. I got my drink right away! To top it off, the drink tasted good and strong AND the price was dirt cheap(compared to prices here in Cali). ALSO, for some reason that I can’t remember, I mentioned that I am a military veteran(proudly served for 12 years). When the bartender found out, she said that my drinks will be Happy Hour price all night long! Yes, that made me love The Station even more!!! Next time I visit Abilene, I will definitely hang out here again… my new go-to bar! In case you are wondering what 1910 bar I was talking about earlier, the name is Chelsea’s Street Pub. The Station definitely trumps that bar any time of the day!
