Went in on a Sunday to get my prescription filled at the pharmacy. It turned out it was closed during open hours. The staff had gone to lunch. I walked around aimlessly, waiting for them to come back. When they did the lines were pretty packed for drop-off and pick-up.

I have always gone here for groceries till market street opened I’ve switched between the two. I have bought meat here before & had no problems till recently… The last three meals that I have cooked the meat has been tough. I’ll still shop here but I will never buy meat here again.

I’m not a fan of walmart anyway… too many people and its more like cattle going through a chute than a shopping experience… most of the cashiers I’ve managed to have a short conversation with haven’t been too customer friendly… take some pride no matter what you do… thankfully I don’t need to visit here too often… there’s everything you need but too many people too wade through… only real plus is the being open 24⁄7

I too had a bad experience at automotive center. Came in for simple oil change, an hour and a half latter I am standing in line to pay. They are not worth the wait, for $ 2 more you can go to a lube shop and get in and out.

What do I like about this Walmart? It is close to where I live, prices are not to bad but could be better, 95% of the time they have what I want. What I don’t like about this Walmart? The workers do not always ask if you need help, sometimes the isles are full because they are restocking… which should be done during the night and not the busy day hours, there is NEVER enough checkout lanes open making each line really long. Oh, did I say that the workers are not very helpful(excluding the pharmacy).

I had to take a mean s!&t this morning, so I visited the Wal-Mart men’s toilet. I waited for the custodian to leave with his cleaning cart, then entered the feces facilities to take care of business, if you know what I mean!!! The night before I had fried chicken wings, ranch dressing and refried beans, so I was locked and loaded for some wreckage, but I was very disappointed to see that not one, but two others had marked their territory before I got there at 9am. Or did they? I have a stinky suspicion that the battle scars on the Wal-Mart john(the wallyjohn) were left there by conquerers from the previous day and were not cleaned. Since I just saw the custodian leave with his cart, I was expecting a clean throne to destroy, but the previous bowl warriors had left their mark. Were they trying to scare me? Who the f#&k to they think they’re dealing with??? Undeturd, I waged battle and won. Bottom line, the bathroom was filthy, but who cares, it ain’t my bathroom. Thank Wal-Mart!!! You’re the best.

If it were possible to give Walmart no stars, I would, simply out of principle for ALL Walmarts. This review isn’t just for this location but all of them… the worst part of all of them is that they NEVER have enough cashiers… NEVER! There has been many a time where I will walk in and walk right back out again after seeing how busy the place is and how few cashiers are there. I don’t want to spend a half an hour in line to check out to save a few dollars.

Everything you want or need in a great big box. But everyone else is also there, so register lines are long.

Bad experience at the Walmart Auto Center. Had a tire develop a bulge while driving from California to Texas. Stopped into the Auto Center for to replace the two rear tires(drivers rear tire had a slight bulge). A mechanic that looked like Rob Zombie with bad braids told me he would have to replace ALL4 tires. I told him the front two tires were only three months old. He said he would have to replace all four tires or nothing. I chose nothing, and drove to the Walmart at the other end of Abilene and replaced the two rear tires.

I can’t believe no one has reviewed this establishment yet. I mean — it’s Wal Mart already! But then I suppose it is the old saying, «If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all.» that is keeping everyone away. Well, in keeping with that tradition, I will say that this Wal Mart facility is the most convenient one stop shop for me because I spend most of my time on the Judge Ely side of town and their prices are very reasonable. Ok — that was the nice thing… so now I should be good to give the review. This facility needs to put some serious ventilation on that Subway in the front of their store. The first thing you smell going in to the store on the food side is the nasty garlic, cheese explosion that is going on in the Subway ovens all day. The next thing they need to do is turn the lights on! I don’t know how many times I have been shopping and the lights just go off… that dimmer thing they have is the most annoying thing ever. It makes me think I am going blind or fixing to pass out or something. I have actually had to take out a flashlight to read the labels a time or two. You don’t do this to people that have had eye surgery! We have a hard enough time reading the fine print as it is. Third thing is that constant annoying beeping that goes on in that store. It is the sound the motorized chairs make when they are backing up… but there is not one of those chairs in the area of the beeping(I have tried to track this down but can’t.) It is like they are doing it on purpose so they can play with my head or something. Lastly, all the little kids soliciting for money at the doors is just plain uncomfortable. Now, if they were asking for donations for something like March of Dimes or American Cancer Society, or the Girl Scouts that are actually selling something and not just asking for money, that is fine… but I don’t think kids begging for money so they can play soft ball is a valid fundraiser. Their parents should foot the bill for that. All in all, a very stressful shopping environment.
