Let us begin by saying that my high rating is NOT for the store but the services it provides. Quite honestly, albeit this promises to be a specialty yarn store, the pricing of ANY item in the store is more of a high end boutique than anything else. I have been to pther specialty yarn store(with amazing and rare selection and far more honestly priced items). So, should i base my review on the items for sale it would barely get a 2 star. Why, you ask, 4? Because, in a town like Abilene, where socializing occasions are few and far in between, it is a breath of fresh air to know that this store offers crochet, afghan crochet, knitting workshops as well as weekly social gathering to crochet and chat around some wine after hours. I have never managed to attend any such occasions(busy conflicting schedules), but when one can crochet while chatting and drinking… it deserves a good star in my book

The owner of this shop purchased yarn from our company in August of last year. The product was delivered to them. They wrote a check that bounced. They have not returned any of my calls. As a small business owner it is unbelievable to me that another small business owner would be this unethical. When you shop here beware. You may be purchasing stolen yarn

Went in there the other day to oogle some sexy yarn. The owner of the store, Linda, greeted me right off. She asked me if I needed help finding anything and then proceeded to ask me about the projects I was doing, if I was a knitter or crocheter, and actually recommended me some yarns. She was a sweetheart and made me feel right at home. She even offered to special order a set of crochet hooks I was interested in. Great service! There are places to sit and craft that are really cozy. Linda invited me to come sit and craft things while I was in between classes at school. She had a candle burning so the place smelled absolutely dreamy. Definitely going back!
