Everyone in the office ate Chef Heather’s lastweek; we were all very pleased! The salads were fresh and the sandwiches were tasty, too. In fact, we’ve eaten there twice since! A new office favorite :)

In town for the Washington County Fair and Chef Heathers has a food truck on the grounds. I got the Santa Fe Chicken Flatbread and the Fruit Salad. Wow, the food was great! The Santa Fe Chicken was unbelievable and the Fruit Salad was killer! If the food is this fabulous at the restaurant I’ll be making it a regular stop when in town! Great job to Cheryl and Jim knocking it out at the fair.

I love Chef Heather!!! The Southwesteren Salad is my absolute favorite! I live in Pennsylvania and crave there food soo much. The salad is fresh and the real deal. Not a fast food version salad at all. The chicken is warm when its served on the salad. The sweet tea is delish and I love the Pumpkin Roll to death, definately the best i ever had! The food is good and its real ingredients no imitations and delish. Definately my faveeverytime I go back. Also the prices are good and reasonble.

Not that impressed. It’s in a strip mall and it looks like a doctor’s office that they just moved into. Chopped up into little, sterile rooms with no character. Food is «meh» at best. My biggest problem is that everything seems to concentrate on two food groups: sugar and fat. Their«fruit salad» is a few pieces of fruit and some shaved almonds floating in something that’s so sickeningly sweet I couldn’t eat it. Their chicken salad tasted more like a dessert — WAY too much sugar in almost everything I’ve eaten, including salad dressings and sandwiches. Lots better places to eat in Abingdon I’m afraid.

Visited this place for lunch with two friends and I can say we all left satisfied, and my friend were pleasantly surprised(I had eaten there before so I knew what to expect). Lunch can be busy, but the food is absolutely good. Coffee is average, which is a shame for such a nice lunch place. I had a Santa type sandwich, my friends had a portobello sand which and some kind of cheese sandwich, again we all left satisfied!

From previous reviews, it seemed that this was a good choice to try, but the other reviews were lacking in description of overall menu, and, unfortunately, there was nowhere to find a menu prior to our visit(which always makes me nervous). However, we decided to give it a try anyway based on the high rating and convenience to our location. The location is in a strip mall and I will admit we were apprehensive at first based on this fact and the menu not being very expansive. The menu consists of sandwiches/flatbreads, soups, and salads. They offer a daily soup and side(s). My husband and I both had the philly flatbread with a side of spinach dip and chips. While they were both delicious, the spinach dip was much better than one could have imagined or described. If you’re looking for a quick but delicious meal, definitely give it a try!

Good tasty food put together with care, for a very reasonable price. Also has healthier options, which is greatly appreciated. We enjoyed the Asian chicken salad, southwest salad & sandwich, and the Hawaiian sandwich — all excellent.

Very good restaurant… Very Friendly and VERYQUICK… I have eaten there 4 times and all times have been great… The only exception was today on 2−14−14…the soup was not the hottest and the sandwich(Monty Cristo) was not the best… but they did offer another lunch item. Overall I would highly recommend their salads… These ladies are very hard workers and quick. A great lunch place!

Always enjoy lunch here! Every visit they are busy, but quick, so you don’t wait long for great, affordable, creative, tasty food! The staff and owner are friendly and pleasant. Not much time for idle chit chat, but never discourteous! Looking for an excellent homemade soup and sandwich, take exit 14 to this awesome spot!

My love for Chef Heathers remains. The consistency, freshness and quality is top notch here. My absolute favorite is the Southwestern chicken salad. Fresh leafy greens, nice chunks of grilled chicken breast, roasted corn and red peppers, cukes, tomatoes, and freshly grated monterey jack cheese. Top this all off with the home made(slightly spicy) dressing and this chic is in salad heaven. CH is a no frills kinda place and small. Always super busy. I usually opt for call in and bring it back to work to enjoy. Only open for lunch. Mon — Fri. 11am-3pm.

A great lunch place. They have a pretty decent panini and salad selection. I got the portobello and mozzarella panini and switched a half for my friends turkey and cranberry panini and they were both delicious. The fruit salad that came with it was amazing and it came highly recommended. The place does seem to fill up so I would be prepared to wait a bit during the lunch rush.
