I’m giving this place 3 stars only for the fact that they use cheap roast beef that is cooked well done and VERY fatty. Other than that their subs are great. They have by far the best pickles and hand cut tomatoes that make even the dry roast beef taste good. I recommend their Italian sub it’s hard to find a better one in the area. If they stepped up their roast beef game they’d get 5 stars

Went here on lunch break yesterday. Never been before but drive by ALL the time. The place is a slight bit tacky but it matters not. Since I’ve never been i asked the woman behind the counter for a recommendation. She recommended the Italian as their biggest seller. So I got the Italian with the works. Man, the thing was a beast in size and it tasted great. Only thing I’d recommend is to integrate the toppings between everything in the sub instead of just putting everything on top. Other than that, place was boss.

Hungry after an indoor cycling class, I thought I’d try this badly located sub shop on the way home, and boy do I wish I hadn’t! The parking spaces are very limited and it’s due to the poor choice of location. The décor is bare, tacky, and just plain awful. The cheap signs littering the place in an attempt at humor was just as bad as the food. I order the simplest type of sub, a cheesesteak, that even I got right when I was in college. The kids there looked beyond bored and disinterested, not one smile and courtesy Hello. When I got the sub, it was too simple for words, which for me means that they took no pride in their work or food. The condiments were tossed on top as an after thought and had no integration with the food. The meat itself was frozen and still had an after taste after being«cooked». This is a declining joke, and a bad one, so please don’t go here!

This place is legendary. Cold or hot their subs are amazing and they do not skimp on the chopped pickles. Amazing.

Haven’t been to Sub Galley for many(many) years. Was passing through Abington so decided to visit one of my old faves. What did I get? What else? The howzabout. Every bit as good as I remembered. It’s a cheeseburger sub with grilled onions and peppers american cheese with a touch of meatball sauce. Delicious. Hopefully not another 10 – 15 years before I have another. Prices are pretty low too.

Sub Galley is an institution. I’m back visiting after having moved across the country and I made sure that I got here for my small tuna sub. Portions are always huge and delicious. If you haven’t gotten a sub here you’re missing out.

My favorite local sub shop. You can have SubWay and Deanjellos give me Sub Galley. A funky little place staffed by locals. Subs are fresh and ingredients often lovingly home made. My favorite Italian Cold Cut sub can be found here(please don’t tell the wife I even mentioned it.) Meat Balls and sauce are unbeatable. They put so many pickles and onions on their cold subs that you need a fork to scoop them up.

The house specialties are meatball subs and roast beef that they roast themselves. The owner is a wonderful inviting lady that took care of me like my mother… kind of looked like her too. I tried the meatball after asking and it brought me back to my grandmothers Sunday dinners. Everyone in the place ordered the meatball subs. Can’t wait to try the roast beef! What a value too.

Don’t waste your money at this dump. Ordered 5 subs for the family. First mistake, they were out of large sub rolls. No worries, we’ll take smalls. All of the subs were horrible tasting of rancid onion. Got a sausage special, all peppers & nasty raw onions and about 3 little ultra nuked pieces of dry italian sausage. $ 30+ down the drain. Not one person in five in our family liked it, and we’re not that picky. Run by kids. WORSTSUBSHOPAROUND by far

I friggin love this place. I have been coming here my entire life(I’m 30) since my Grandmother lived here when I was growing up. I make it a point to get a meatball sub from here whenever possible. It’s your standard sub shop, but it’s very, very good.

The Submarine Galley or «Sub Galley» is great! Their subs are delicious, and they are famous for their meatballs which you can order to go for your dinners at home! I loved their meatballs, which taste(and are!) homemade, which makes all the difference in a meatball sub! The staff is friendly, and they make the subs in a flash, which is convenient if you walk in without ordering ahead of time. They do not offer delivery, it’s mainly a takeout joint, although there are five tables inside.
