Budget Inn 4-U

At 12: oo am even a car looks goo to sleep in. The place has WiFi, NOT WORKING, POOL, yes !!! Water NO !!!. I did not want to wake my cousins who were sleeping so I stayed here. It was $ 72 on a Saturday night, bed was ok, air worked but the place really is shady after 3:00 am, I guess the three cop cars don’t add to the ambiance. Do yourself a favor sleep in your car

Oh boy. If I could give this place no stars, I would.
I ended up in the area on 4^th of July weekend without a reservation. Our options were to sleep in the car or spend a few hours in this… place.
I guess we should have listened to our gut when every single hotel/​motel/​shanty by the beach for miles around was booked solid and this place had a vacancy.
The first thing we noticed after getting out of the car was that there was a lot of shadiness going on at this place at 3am… we felt pretty uncomfortable and hurried into the room.
There was an earwig under the cover. There was some reddish/​brown slime dripping from the bathroom ceiling. The room smelled like smoke and there was a mysterious white powder on the part of the desk chair that touched the desktop when it was pushed in.
After the lights went out, I felt small bugs crawling on me in the bed, there were several houseflies in the room and I woke up with really itchy, uncomfortable bites all over my legs. I guess they weren’t bed bugs (thank god) because I haven’t had this problem since, so whatever it was didn’t come home with me. But, still…
For someone who’s actually using this place as a motel to sleep in while traveling, if given the choice between this and your car, seriously, just find somewhere to pull over and sleep. This was the nastiest place I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve stayed in some cheap, no frills motels in my time.
