This hidden gem specializes in white wines originally sourced from a single location in France. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the wines(all estate-grown) are stellar. No boring Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio at this unique venue. Expect a light, minerals, beautifully nuances flight. The pairings are exquisite, such as Dubliner with a confit of violet flowers. Do not miss this on your tour of Lodi wineries!

They only produce Rhone style white wines. This is a must stop when you are in Lodi One of the best wineries in Lodi

Great place in the Lodi AVA to pick up white wines. They are not just flabby and sweet. These wines have structure and varietal correctness that rival any white you can find in this area. The clones are selected to imitate the rhone varietals from the south of France, but they also have a truly distinctive Lodi touch that makes thewines both a tribute to their heritage and also distinct to the terroir. Truly lovely white wine in Zinfandel Country.

Lovely, lovely white wines in a mainly red area! Each wine comes with a small taste of a select cheese or other food to help you taste the wine alone as well as with food. We like them all and bought some of each. Enjoy!

If you like white wines and you can make it to this wonderful winery– I highly recommend it. It’s not uncommon to meet Susan Tipton in the tasting room– the owner and winemaker. She is so kind and happy to share info and answer all questions. Tasting fees waived with bottle purchase and each taste is paired with a food bite that compliments the wine. The violet flower confit(a delicate and delicious French jelly) is so incredible I bought a jar on my last visit when it was paired in the tasting menu. The tasting room is vibrant and fun vibe. Everyone I’ve met there has been so nice staff and customers. The venue doesn’t offer much more than the tasting room but doesn’t matter. Not every place in Lodi needs sprawling grounds.

Being a white wine lover this winery is one of our favorites. When people ask which three or four wineries in the Lodi area to visit, Acquiesce is always on the list. White Rhone style wines in gorgeous bottles. We save the bottles and use them to serve water at dinner parties. And the rose is also amazing. We waited a year just to get in the wine club. Make sure to buy some if you like it, because this wine sells out every year. The tasting room experience is so fun because it includes food pairings and then if something really floats your boat, they have some foodie items for sale, and recipes! Love that we can just pop up there and pick some up…

We have been wine club members here for years and have no plans whatsoever to cancel our membership. Everything that Sue touches turns to gold(or just flat out fantastic wine). One of the only places in the area that does strictly white wines and a wonderful rose, this is a must try winery. Everyone is super welcoming and you will not meet a nicer, more humble winemaker/owner than Sue. We just moved up to the Placerville area and this is the only membership that we kept. It is well worth the hour drive for us to go pick up our wine and taste. They do ship wines to your door as well. Today we attended the«release party» and left with two full cases! Outstanding, award winning wines. They sell out every year so… what does that tell ya?

What an incredible experience — all elegant and understated white wines in red wine country. The tasting room staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Had the blessing of meeting the owner Sue, wow, so knowledgeable and humble. I also love, love, love the front door.

The short: Out for a day of wine tastings and came to a winery that had one bottle of wine… The long: Had some family in town that wanted to go wine tasting so we took a day to bounce from one winery to the next. As some of the people in the group had allergies to red wines we had to find a winery that had whites. We made some calls and found Acquiesce. So after driving out to find it we found that it was all dug up and trashed. There was no clear signage as to where to go to get in so initially we walked into the back side of the building where they store stuff. So after walking around we went in another door and found an okay but rather boring and impersonal room. The staff was fairly welcoming, but made the comment that if we wanted to taste anything we should have came earlier in the season. I’m not exactly sure what they meant by that because they had recently harvested which meant they had just made the years wine. Although that was pretty off putting when we started the tasting we had finished the first wine and they informed us that was the only wine they had. Yup they charged us full price for the tasting and only one wine when it should have been 3 – 4. Between their lacking customer service and lack of communication I would never bring anyone back here again. What works: I find little to nothing working here. What to improve: If you’re going to have an open wine tasting room than have more than just one wine for people to try.

We got lucky and was able to get here before they were completely sold out again. This winery only has white wine. Personally, I like reds, but Acquiesce white wines are delicious. We were only able to taste the 2013 belle blanc and 2013 viognier. Both were good but the belle blanc was more awesome. Their wine bottles have a unique shape and are manufactured in france apparently. They sell wind chimes that are made from the wine bottles.

If you like White wines, this is a must stop for you. They converted a 100 year old barn into a bright modern tasting room with an atmosphere all its own. Do you like food paring suggestions in the form of samples while tasting? If you answered«HECKYEAH!» then you have another reason to stop here. The food pairings alone could be an attraction. While wine tasting in Lodi, you must Acquiesce to… Acquiesce Winery.

What a great experience. White wines only, and they were great. The also a small food pairing with each of the four wines, and the pairings enhanced every wine we tasted. The lady pouring said she wasn’t an «expert,» but she was very helpful, friendly, and added a lot to the experience. A great experience. We will most definitely be returning.

Acquiesce was a major highlight of our Lodi winery experience. We went right at 11:00 on a very hot August morning figuring we’d start with white and work our way up to the Zins at other wineries. For $ 5 you get to taste four excellent white wines paired with delicious snacks. We enjoyed the flower jelly spread(Confit of Violet Flowers) so much we bought a jar and look forward to pairing it with brie at home! Analisa was great and the grounds are beautiful. This is a must for moms and girlfriends/wives that are new to wine. The wines are complex but accessible and the presentation is very cute and feminine. We will be back!

I am in love with Acquiesce wines! This may perhaps explain why I came out of there with $ 200 worth of wine. I was one of those typical Napa wine snobs. I wouldn’t bother with wines from places like Paso Robles, Livermore or Lodi. Belle Blanc from Acquiesce was my introductory Lodi wine — and it opened up my once closed minded(and sightly ignorant) wine perspective. The bottle is sexy, the label is beautifully done, and even the cork has a wax seal on top! But the most important thing was the taste – with hints of pears and honey and a smooth, dry finish. It was love! So naturally, when we visited Lodi for the weekend, we visited the winery. We tasted the Grenache Blanc, Belle Blanc, Rosé and Viognier. Each were beautifully paired with small bites. Acquiesce only make whites, and these guys definitely know what they are doing! They produce their wines in small batches. Therefore, you will not find their wines in stores. So besides hauling 8 bottles of wine, I also signed up for the wine club. I’m on the waiting list. Hopefully, I get in before my 8-bottle stash(now 6) disappears!

This might be worth five stars if I was really into wine so please take that into account. We came here for a bit of a wine tasting. They offered four wines with four little pairings. Dill crackers, cheese and honey, pretzel with hummus, and cashews. The pourings were each a few sips. And they were all reasonably tasty especially if you’re into that sort of thing. The ladies were very helpful and informative. It was five bucks per person. I assume that’s reasonable but I’ve never done this before so I can’t be sure. Before we left my friend purchased a bottle of one of the wines and it canceled out her tasting fee. That’s pretty convenient. To the left of the tasting counter is a little display with honey varieties for sale. Plus, recipe cards so you can try all the fun treats they provide at home. Pretty cool.

Fantastic winery! Stopped there on the day they opened back up(they had sold out of all their wines earlier in the year). I’ve been wanting to try this winery for awhile and was finally able to. It certainly didn’t disappoint. Walked out with 3 bottles of Grenache Blanc and 3 bottles of Viognier. Also joined the wine club. If you like whites this is a MUST stop.

One of the best wineries anywhere! Rhone style white wines produced in Acampo by the winemaker Susan who is not only amazingly talented but warm and welcoming as well! One of the best experiences I have ever had wine tasting. They have small pairing bites to accompany each wine which is most amazing, you have to try the sharp cheddar and violet jelly!!! The pairings, the wines, the winery and the people are all top notch. Whenever I am in Lodi for any reason it is a must to stop here

Absolutely LOVE this winery… beautiful tasting room with a very serene porch area that you can sit in while you taste your wine. The owners are beyond amazing, friendly, passionate and knowledgeable. They offer small bite pairings with their tasting. They are only all white winery in the Lodi area and are definitely a stop you must make. We have been wine club members here for about 6 months and I must say, they take care of you well. They have several dining events throughout the year to take part in as well. We LOVE this place… All of their varietals are delicious and the bottles are beautiful!!!
