US Post Office

This is my second most favored location for USPS activities, whatever that may be.
I come here if the lines are a litle lengthy at the Woodbridge Post Office (
) or if Ben P happens to be in line ahead of me. I’ve never had more than one person ahead of at any time, most of the time no one is there ahead of me.
Note, though, that only a couple of people can form a line from the counter before the line exits into the Post Office Box area. Kind of cramped, but it’s a very small Post Office.
After business? Go to the Acampo Store (that’s Acampo’s only grocery,
) for a Strawberry Shortcake bar of Ice Cream! Mmm, Mmm, good!

Had to mail some Certified Letters today… had excess amount of postage on envelopes… clerk noticed it and promptly refunded amount off of total Debit charge… Cool!

There’s an 8×10 sheet of paper posted inside this Post Office stating that this Post Office is being evaluated for closure. I always thought that this Post Office in Acampo was just too close to the one in Woodbridge… just a few miles South of this location.
Just another indication of how bad this Economy is…
