Had a bad idea one day and stopped for lunch. Expensive food for being so gross. Ordered classic bar food app of breaded mushrooms. For around $ 5 we got 5 cold, small in the center frozen mushrooms. Gyro was seriously lacking in quality; it looked like a monkey made it by accident. My wings were mediocre at best. Sorely disappointed.

Stopped for dinner while on a family vacation with my wife and two boys. Drove by and thought we should see if we could get in as the parking lot was full, Read the other reviews after we ordered so we hoped for the best. Restraunt was ncie and had good food for the money!

Ewwww, this place is a dive(and not in a good way, like cool and hip dive bar, just a dive that needs to be cleaned and brightened up). The food was boring, bland, and lacking in appeal. For years my mom and aunt drove by this place on their way to the casino and swore one day they would stop and eat there. Well they just so happened to pick the day we were with them to eat here. I was not interested but I didn’t have a choice since my mom was driving. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because my mom and aunt swore this place was always so busy in the summer time. Well, after seeing it had a nice outdoor seating area I wasn’t surprised that people would come here for drinks and a nice view on a warm summer day. However, I’m pretty sure those same people are not eating here, they are just drinking here. I ordered the rueben sandwich and there was barely any corned beef. The majority of my sandwich was sauerkraut. I’m sorry, but a rueben should have a hefty portion of corned beef, not two thin layers. Plus, my bread wasn’t even grilled. I was so disappointed. I would not go back to this place when visiting TC.

I decided to stop in for lunch after passing by it so many times. Well, I should should have just kept on driving. I had the white bean chicken chili and a chicken gyro. The chili looked like carmel colored baby food with a couple of beans in it and a few chunks of chicken. Absolutely terrible. The gyro was sub part at best. Standard ingredients, but with chicken strips that looked like they came from a bag. The taste was ok. Cole slaw was inedible. Although the burger did looked good and was told it was. Free popcorn too. Wooo. Don’t go to eat.

Always wonderful service! The menu is very large and diverse, always specials going on. Food priced very reasonable and it comes in great portions! Their Friday and Saturday prime rib specials are something to look forward to every week. Outdoor dining with a view of East Bay in warmer months. Pool and a jukebox on the bar side of restaurant, casual dining room on other side. Love this place!

Came here for our last night on our vacation. All we wanted was a waitress to keep up on our drinks and that didn’t happen. Even after we had to move from table to bar we were completely ignored.

The food here is classic bar food. If you’re going out just for food, this may not be your best bet– this place is great for drinks, hanging out with friends, karaōke, pool, arcade games and drinking– I recommend going for the drinks and the atmosphere! They even have popcorn available for everyone to have!

Moderate prices, but below moderate food quality… had wanted to stop here for a long time, but the smoking section always rolled over into the no smoking and we couldn’t hack it. Finally, they got that cured, but the quality is just not there… it’s always packed though, so maybe we’re missing something.

Great local bar. A bar environment with menu that is equal to a high end casual restaurant. The pizza is top notch and would highly recommend the Greek pizza. The bar staff, especially Barbie and Annie make us feel like family. If you are in traverse city and want to find that special place that only local know about, it is the bayview. If summertime the view on the deck over looking east bay is second to none.

if the service ever catches up with the food they might have something. but, since poor service can ruin a good meal… 2 stars. i recommend eating here if you are patient. TIP: when you get your drink go ahead and order your next if you think you will want another … and don’t sit at the bar.

Karaōke Thursday nights and a full parking lot. If you want to come here, get here early and grab your table. It stays full all night, so they must be doing something right! However, beware the killer bugs in the parking lot(but it’s not like they can tell bugs to stay away from neon)!

Bayview could be really good if they got a menu update. They have had the same boring food forever. The servers also tend to have a chip on their shoulders and can snap and be rude. We dine here alot because sometimes it is just convenient to not have to drive into t.c. They have a great location and could benefit by not just banking on the fact that people are going to eat at this establishment just because of its location.

Stopped in to get out of a massive storm. Needed tetanus shots after just touching the menu. Had a drink and ran out as fast as we could. Never did eat there out of fear of instant food poisoning

If you’re in the Acme area of Traverse City, and in the mood for a great burger and beer this is an excellent choice. This restaurant is located just down the road from our marina and we eat here 5 times a week in the summer and it is like home to us. The greek salad and gyro is a favorite and the prime rib on friday and saturday is very nicely done and a good bargain. If you are lucky enough to be there when they have the walleye special going ORDERIT! By far one of the best fish dinners I get around here, and we have some great fish places in Traverse. Hope to see you there. Have a great summer.

My family goes to weekly trivia. Some of the servers can be rude but its usually fun. Twice now we’ve come and there has been a customer appreciation party so we can’t get a table for trivia. Why you would schedule two events at the same time is beyond me. Tonight we came in and again its so packed you can barely get in the door. We asked for a table for 6 and were told it wasnt possible and we should just leave. We really wanted to play trivia so we asked if we could have an open booth the youngish waitress yelled at us and said no, we had to wait for a 6 top. Ignoring her we sat down with no desire to stay or give them any money. The staff is rude, clearly the owner can’t plan, and its not even worth the headache. I mean what kind of business tells customers to leave?!

So we came here for breakfast during our weekend staycation at the Yuba cottage. Views of East Bay, lots of coffee with vanilla creamer, and friendly service. The menu is a bit limited, as I was craving a skillet or scramble. I settled on a two-egg breakfast with bacon, toast, and one of Bam’s pancakes(the pancake breakfast came with 3, so I had one with blueberries in it special). We kind of wanted chocolate chip pancakes, which they didn’t have, but our waitress was willing to put M&M’s from the machine in them! Awesome. Breakfast was traditional but solid, and we left happy. In fact, I’m about the heat my leftovers up right now.

I went to this bar for drinks with friends on a Friday night. It was later, we’d had an excellent dinner, and just wanted to relax. We came into town just a few hours earlier for a short vacation. The service was excellent that night. The atmosphere is slightly dive bar-ish, but not in a bad way. They have a jukebox, pool tables, food(I’ve heard the pizza is really good), and outdoor patio, and that trivia that you can play with a controller at your table. The beer/liquor selection was very adequate. The low stars come from our experience two days later. We stopped in around 10pm on a Sunday and they were closed! I realize that’s not an unusual time for a restaurant to close, but this place looks like the kind of bar where manual laborers go for a few beers after work. It seems like the kinda place that would be open until 2am every single day. And what’s worse is that there were quite a few people inside sitting at tables and at the bar drinking. The doors were locked, and the wait staff just stared at us when we motioned to them. Yes, it could’ve been regulars and off-the-clock employees who were in there drinking. I know how it goes. I’ve done it myself many, many times. I guess it was just disappointing.
