We had a group of people who get together for dinner every year during our conference. This was our second trip to The Grille. Three of the dishes were cold and/or not as described on the menu. The waitress didn’t even know what the menu said until it was pointed out to her. The two cold dishes were replaced with different items, but one of those was still wrong. The manager was walking around but never came to our table to find out the problem or ask if there was anything they could do. Finally the waitress offered a free desert but we declined. Very disappointed and will not go back next year.

Excellent lunch while watching golfers hack it up. Good French dip sandwich, but a little bland. Great totter tots. Wife had a very good club sandwich. Excellent service made it an overall great reasonable lunch.

This restaurant is located in the clubhouse of the Grand Traverse Resort’s golf course. While the views were nice on the patio, the«no smoking» policy doesn’t stop people from lighting up 20 feet upwind from the dining area. Beware of dining outdoors if you’re hoping your dinner won’t be ruined by smokers. The food itself was subpar. I specifically asked the waitress if the chef typically cooks steak to order or tends to overcook. She assured me that the steaks will come out exactly as ordered, and considering the way the restaurant looked, I took her at her word. Unfortunately, every single person in our party had their steak overcooked. Rare came out medium well and everything else was well done. In addition to that, the crabcakes for the Surf and Turf were soggy as if they had been prepared and kept in a warmer for hours. Crabcakes should be crispy if they are freshly fried and these were quite the opposite. Big thumbs down for The Grille, thankfully Aerie was the complete opposite in terms of food quality.
