So I just got back from spending a week at Disney World, and when I got back, my car was dead because I left my keys inside! So my husband jump my car and then brought me over to advanced auto parts. Artis saved me!!! Its like 20 degrees outside and this man is helping me replace my battery. Talk about customer service! I don’t know what I’d do without you! Thank you so much!

The store itself and help were just fine! No issues there. However when you order online with discount codes it rings up right for you online, but when you get to the store the discount is gone! It happened twice. Since one was for a large amount I went and ordered it again and ignored the first order. The other item was small so just paid it. They have wonderful discount codes online, when they work its great, but that day there was issues. I mentioned it in store but store cant seem to do anything about it and they said others had the same issues on some orders. Why? Who knows… hope just a one day bug in the system

I bought a lawn tractor battery at the Cartersville location because that was where I happened to be at the time. I turned in my core there at the same time. However, when I got it home — I discovered that it was completely dead and would not take a charge. I took it back to the Acworth store because it’s on my way home from work. The first clerk looked like he was completely dumb struck and had no idea what to do with a dead battery. Another guy came in and asked for Lock-Tite while I was talking to him and despite being a foot and a half from it, looked befuddled and kind of pointed toward the chemical isle. So. anyway…he hands off this female assistant manager who was in one heck of a foul mood. She came up, demanded my receipt and when I said I never keep that stuff she just claimed that she couldn’t help me without it. I told her I’d just bought it from Cartersville 3 days prior and gave them my phone # for the computer warranty but she said she couldn’t look that up. Finally — I asked — «Can’t you just call them?» to which she rolled her eyes and said — «I don’t know what store that is». She was clearly trying to do anything she could to just get me to leave. I finally looked up the Cartersville store on my phone for her since she couldn’t seem to locate their number and gave it to her. She disappeared in the back for a while and when she came out again, she started poking around in the computer without ever saying anything to me. The phone rang, and she looked annoyed, picked it up — delivered the usual saying and then said«Please hold» and slammed it back down again. Each time it would ring back — she’d pick it up, punch the hold button and slam it back down again. She did this about 8 times. No kidding! Anyway — eventually she got around to testing the battery, said it was bad and went and got another one for me. I asked her to test THAT one to which she rolled her eyes again and did so. WIthout showing me the test results, she proclaimed it good so I took it home. It was ALSO bad. This time, I drove to another store in Acworth to just get my money back since I wasn’t going to give them a 3rd shot at this. Those guys were FAR nicer and didn’t give me much of a hard time at all — but they said they couldn’t do anything about my core charge of $ 8 so at this point — I have no battery and no core to trade in for a replacement. Advance sucks… I’ll never darken their door again

This is my go-to Auto Parts location! Marques R. and Alex W. are great! Those cats really know their shit! They always help me out and they don’t try to get over on you by trying to sell you the expensive shit first or recommending shit you don’t need! I’ve been going here for about 3 yrs and they haven’t let me down yet! Their customer service is great! They take care of their repeat customers!
