I could not be happier with my experience at Al Bums. They have a massive selection of vintage records that are well organized. Mark, the salesperson, was helpful and knew a great deal about the inventory. The prices are fair and reflect record condition and desirability. I first went there based on a recommendation from another record shop that did not restore record players. Anthony, at Al Bums will look over your turntable and determine what’s the best option is. For me, my turntable was beyond repair. However, Anthony had a turntable that was comparable to the one I brought in. Anthony explained all the pricing options when it came to the needle and cartridge. He stands behind his work with a warrantee too. Now I can reminisce the past and share my formative years with my family. Thank you Al Bums.

Great little shop. Worth the effort to find this place. Has everything you need. A «just in» bin when you walk in the door helps for weekly visitors, but don’t sleep on digging in all the bins here. I have found some rare stuff hidden in the corners of this place. Everything from blues, soul, punk, classic rock, rare 80’s/90’s alternative EP’s, European pressings, soundtracks. If you are not finding something, just ask, he will get it for you.

A great record store with mostly fair prices and a very knowledgable owner. All genres of music are well represented, and this store has a solid collection of both new and old/used records. I’ve been to a lot of the record stores in the ATL and this store ranks as one of the best in the area. I’ll be back many times in the near future… I have a vinyl addiction… in the best way possible. Great store!

Brick & Mortar stores are an extension of the owner(s), & this place shows that. The minute I walked in the door, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a quick rundown of all the sections of great vinyl. New and Used LPs with a strong assortment of Rock, Soul/R&B, Jazz, Blues, Comedy + a bin of new arrivals. There was a 25% off sale too so I snagged some sweet original Coltrane, Shuggie Otis, and Stevie Wonder records. He also has guitars, amps, and some used turntables as well. Only about 5 minutes off I-75. Support this guy because he has a treasure of a store.

It’s a cool place. They sometimes have some pretty interesting guitar finds here. They sell albums. It appears to be a family owned shop. Go by and buy something. Support a local independent record store!
