Visiting for a baseball tournament in nearby Emerson and had an amazing meal! Dinner was fantastic for all… ages 9 to 73. All pasta dishes were fantastic(I had Linguini with Clams) and the kids devoured the pizza. Service was friendly and prompt but never felt rushed.

Probably some of the best italian food I’ve had since I moved to Atlanta. Definitely not«elevated», but good, simple and comforting. The owner came out and chatted with us which was nice. I will say that the waitress we had was a bit over-attentive, and once we were finished, I felt a bit rushed to clear my table, which is usually understandable, but not when there’s no one else waiting for a table.

At Fusco’s urging(along with a discount), we returned for a second chance. A busy Saturday night. server took a few minutes to get to us, but apologized for the delay. Food was excellent, service was good. All in all, glad to see Fusco’s can live up to the good reviews shown here. Thanks!

When you order something like pasta bolognese, you don’t expect much. This places kills it! It’s some of the best bolognese I’ve had. I added crushed red peppers, because I enjoy a little heat. The flavors were great. As I recall, it included beef, pork and veal. Such a great combo. I love it when such a simple dish is a huge hit. The bread was tasty too. I’m not a big bread person, but theirs was very good. The olive oil tasted like real olive oil, not watered down lite versions. The oil and the bread were delicious. I ate a whole piece of bread which is very rare for me. My only knock was the Mista. The tomato was under ripe and not seasoned. The mixed leaves were good, but under dressed. If the salad were a hit I’d give them 5. Our server was excellent. Very friendly and attentive. She was patient considering my other party member was late. Very good service and food. Setting the reservation was a little difficult. It is Mother’s Day, but the place was ½ empty with plenty of servers. I’m not sure why there was so much confusion setting the reservation.

If you want an authentic Italian experience right in a cozy southern town, Fusco’s is the PLACE. Everything on the menu is delicious and far above the standard Olive Garden and Macaroni Grill fares. You might even catch a well-meaning Italian scolding the table next to you for talking politics during dinner! ;) Love it!

Occasionally, I have written reviews on visited restaurants, but always while outside the Acworth area. I feel it is time to give feedback on Fusco’s Via Roma, now my #1 favorite spot to go with wife and friends. In my perception and taste, Fusco’s has won over my two other preferred restaurants in Acworth: Fish Thyme Restaurant & Bar(outstanding seafood), and Henry’s Louisiana Grill(outstanding Creole /Cajun). Mike Fusco(owner), with co-owner & Staff, provided exceptional service. They managed to impress me & my wife, sons, and all twelve in our table with top service and exquisite dishes. Last night, on Saturday, 1÷23÷16, our food timely arrived at the table, with the right temperature, as ordered, and with presentation and taste that amazed everyone. My 32 year-old son commented: «I was impressed the 1st time we came here with you, but I like it even better now». I trust his judgement, since he frequents eating establishments in Atlanta and North Atlanta suburbs. Mr. «S», owner of Vingenzo’s Pasta & Pizzeria in Woodstock, GA told me a couple of years ago, that Fusco’s is an Italian — American restaurant. I do agree to some extent, but that doesn’t detract from being an exceptional Tuscan — style trattoria(since no one may own a copyrighted definition of whatever an Italian — Tuscan trattoria should be, other than a small & homey Italian eating establishment). The bottom line is that Fusco’s is número uno. And if I had to take Chef Giovanni de Palma, who is owner of Antico(best Neapolitan pizza in Atlanta) to eat around here, I would take him to Fusco’s.

Had an incredible time with friends and the wife here the other night. The food was incredible, service was top notch, and even prices were more than reasonable. We had started to go to Henry’s and when they said 2.5 hour wait, we decided on Italian. We had wine, appetizers, main course, before dinner drinks, but no desert. We will actually look to make this our first start stop for now on.

The food is mediocre nothing to really brag about, the staff was friendly. we ordered mostly from their specials for the night the cauliflower risotto was good, the cheese plate was okay not much flavor. I’m not a huge fan of Italian but this place is just lacking flavor. We ordered a few drinks 2 beers, a Moscow mule and sangria. the sangria was good one of the drinks I wanted to try they didn’t have all the Ingredients. We didn’t have time for dessert cause it was obvious they were closing we were the last 5 in the restaurant and the staff was almost done cleaning. Overall the food is okay nothing to write home about.

Come Wednesday evenings for half priced bottles of wine. Amazing but true — really Good Italian food is available in the heart of the southbound– or at least in Acworth, GA Forget the menu — the daily specials are to die for if you get Jessica for a waitress she will carefully(and patiently) lead you through the options.

With my many years working in the service industry, I consider myself to be very easy to please. With this in mind though: Our service from Chelsey was so atrocious I truly thought that we were on a prank show. In defense of the restaurant, my boyfriend was attempting to surprise me with a lovely night out, so perhaps our expectations were just too high. With a reservation, and on a very slow Wednesday night, we sat for a full five minutes before anyone asked if we’d been helped. I will say, the gentleman who was serving the table next to us, and who fetched our server for us, was very polite. We didn’t even mind the wait however, as it gave us time to decide on a cocktail from their cute and quirky drink menu. When our server did arrive, we attempted to order the cocktail off the menu, but the server misheard us, and returned to the table a few minutes later to clarify. Again, being in the biz, we didn’t mind, and clarified the item we wished to order. Ten full minutes later, Chelsey returned from the bar to ask us to explain the drink in question to her. At this point I picked up the cocktail menu and pointed at the item, which seemed to cause some grand revelation as she suddenly understood what we meant.(Keep in mind, we still hadn’t heard the specials or had a chance to order our appetizer) A few minutes later, another server dropped the drink(in a drive by fashion) at our booth, and we waited for Chelsey’s return so we could place our order. She arrived, and after asking how the drink was, offered to tell us the specials. Though some of the specials seemed enticing, at this point we were just ready to get ordering over with, and I’m not sure we even really listened to what they were. We began ordering our appetizer and off she went, before we could even ask any questions about the rest of the menu. The bruschetta that we order came out almost instantly, but the bread was chewy, and the entire dish tasted far too heavily of onion(and quite possibly cilantro??). At this point we had been at the restaurant a full 40 minutes and still not even ordered… We gave up! We paid and left. Honestly, we went to his particular restaurant because a friend had raved about the food, but we never even got the chance to try it. We won’t be giving this place a second chance.

Went last night with my wife and child; and I was dissapointed. My wife and I have been going their consistenly for the past 6 months and the food has been nothing short of fantastic even ordering take-out a few times. However, last nights meal was sub-par at best. The food looked like it was from the day before. My seafood risotto looked sloppy;was way too soupy, the calamari(i think) was hard to chew, rubbery, and the food didnt have the same temp as the mussels tasted cooler then the shrimp and so on. My wife who had gone to work this morning had texted me, saying«she hasnt aten anything all morning» as she feels gross from her pork dish. My kids spaghetti seemed ok. I was born and raised in conn/nj and I know what italian food-risotto should be and last night wasnt it. Again, i have had many great dishes in the past, however last nights dish is cause for concern and I would hestitate before deciding to eat at Fuscos again

This is based on one meal & a review of the wine list. I had the Diane. Generous portion of scallops & a delicious dish. Decent bread & salad, which are included. Would return for the food, a very significant step up from the other mom & pop Italian places in the Cobb County area. I am a big fan of lighter reds & white wines in summer. The owner has procured a very nice selection of Italian white wines. Some Pinot Grigio is there, but it is the other whites that make this a stand out list. This alone makes a visit there worthwhile.

Sorry, no, this is not good Italian food. Watermelon salad: bland. Wedding soup: bland but very salty. Spaghetti Bolognese: bland and dry — where’s the sauce? Servers were great and a cute atmosphere, but the food just doesn’t cut it.

Fusco’s is a great Italian restaurant. Period. The fact that it is Acworth GA, is kind of a mystery to me. My first impression was, what kind of Italian restaurant could there be on Main Street, in Acworth. I’m sure I’m going to be disappointed, but I wasn’t. I worked in an Italian Pizzeria in Queens, NY. That was owned and run by first generation Italian family, so I know a little about Italian food. So let’s get started … I hate when I go into an Italian restaurant and they only have California Reds or worst … Fusco had a great selection of Italian wines. The menu offered a wide variety — which again I was happily surprised, but I was even happier when the food came out. Ok, what’s the secret, how can this be? Our waiter Brian, who was exceptional, his only fault was that he’s a Yankee fan, let us in on the secret. The owner and chef are both from Brooklyn NY. I knew it! I felt like I was back home, the food was great. The place was packed so get there early. I know I will.

I really wanted to like this place, I could not. The pizza I bought for my son was made from Walmart, my wife had something that she can’t remember and didn’t to finish it. The inside was cozy, it took us 30 minutes to be seated. Go somewhere else, it will be worth your money.
