One of the few places that delivers to my home, so we do a lot of Sals. Their burgers and pizza are good, and I enjoy their seafood pasta, but I’ve been disappointed in the past when I’ve strayed from those items. I find that they use way too much cheese on their pastas, and their wings are not crispy and could probably use a few more minutes in the fryer; nevertheless, they do have good customer service, and their delivery drivers are prompt. If you order a salad for delivery, be sure to ask for the dressing on the side so it’s not soggy when it gets to you. Most places automatically do that for to-go and delivery salads, but Sal’s does not. Overall, a viable option, but not my fave.

Really good eggplant parm. Hubby and kids had pizza which was good too. Very casual atmosphere. Will be back.

Moving here from Buffalo, NY where pizza and wings reign supreme I was worried we would not find pizza here in GA Sals is terrific pizza and wings. Definitely NY style snd we order a couple times a month. I love the crust and sauce on the pizza and wings are a good size and crispy. We do pick up and delivery. Delivery is usually pretty quick. New update. Been ordering calzones from here. They are delicious but the size is now half of what they were 5 months ago. Also had asked for extra sauce every time, which I have been charged(I didn’t mind paying) for and consistently left off delivery order. If I don’t make a thing of it when I call in my order I never get the sauce. I’m disappointed in these things but will change from 4 stars to 3 because of this. Food quality is still worth the errors in food order and delivery.

You wouldn’t know it when you drive by but Sal’s is an awesome place to eat. Tucked away in a shopping center on Cedarcrest Rd, there is a quaint pizzeria with a wide range of great tasting food that will delight the tastebuds of all the mouths in your family. If that wasn’t enough, the staff, including the owner, is very humble and helpful. This is one of those places that once you find, you will continue to return again and again.

I highly recommend this place and can’t say enough good things about them. I don’t know what my weekends would be without a Sals pizza, the garlic knots, the pasta, the heroes, etc. As far as pizza goes around this area I live in the big corporate chains and the little guys that come and go around town can’t compare to what Sal is doing.

Authentic Italian, the people working here are Italian. Cute atmosphere. This place is delicious! It’s in the middle of nowhere, but that is a good thing because people in the middle of nowhere need good food too. If you dine-in, the bread they serve is SO good. I consider the bread«knots,» but call it whatever you wish, they are delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza. If you are ever near this place, go! I highly recommend it as dine-in. They apparently deliver to my home near Dabbs Bridge in Acworth, so thank you for that, but I have never tried it.

Had chicken Marsala and pesto shrimp. Excellent meal and hearty portions. Price was reasonable and service excellent. I’ll be back. Menu large and offers excellent variety. Good for youngster and the large eaters.

They have decent food but everyone who is or has ever been employed there has been completely incompetent. I live less than a half a mile from sals and without fail every time they get lost or give up. The girls that answer the phones and take orders always seem very confused by the simplest of orders, even ordering a cheese pizza seems like it’s to much for their little minds to comprehend. It took over a hour and a half to get two strobolis because the dumb girl who took our order didn’t write the phone number on the ticket correctly! I really wish they would hire people capable of performing uncomplicated tasks! I’m afraid to order a spinach and grilled chicken stroboli, something would probably go wrong during the ordering process.

Perhaps my 18 years living down the street from Pepe’s and Sally’s in New Haven(where the presidents stop for pizza when in town) has spoiled me, but I was astounded by how truly awful this pizza was. The crust was light and flavorless… no chewiness whatsoever to the texture. There were large, unseasoned chunks of canned tomatoes on top and the cheese was barely melted on top(it looked like they cooked the pizza without the cheese, then threw it on top in the last few minutes if cooking because it was only just past the melting point). The garlic knots served before the meal were heavy and tough — they compacted into little dough balls while pulling them apart. For the first time in my life, I didn’t take the leftovers home and there was a LOT leftover. If you know what real pizza tastes like(cornmeal on the bottom, brown bubbling cheese, thin chewy crust, fresh tomatoes), this is absolutely not the pizza for you.

If you want really, really good pizza — and an equally good Greek salad — this is the place. Sals is the only pizza my granddaughter eats, and we ordered ten for her Dinosaur Train party. We go there regularly. The pizza crust is thin, cheese melty loose, bottom cooked right(I know, I’m from New York) and the Greek salad is so good and fresh I’m sad when I can’t eat any more. This location is better than the one in Dallas and, since they’ve solved their server problem, it’s a pleasure to go. Worth the trip.

I’ve always enjoyed everything at Sals from the pizzas to calzones and sandwiches. Service is good and restaurant is clean. I haven’t found a better pizza place which delivers to the Bentwater area.
