My six-year old Dell XPS gaming computer started overheating a few weeks ago to the point where it could not stay on for more than a minute at a time. Not having a strong background in computer hardware and not wanting to fight out a solution with some technician over the telephone that would likely end in my buying a brand new $ 3,000 computer, I decided to give the Tech Doctors in Acworth a call to see if they could get the computer running again at a minimal cost. My primary goal was to salvage my hard-drive with the many game saves it had on there. After completing his assessment, Terry determined that my motherboard and processor needed to be replaced. Essentially, this is the heart and soul of any computer and thus is some of the most expensive parts to replace. But for only about $ 500, the Tech Doctors totally rebuilt my computer into what is now essentially a brand new system. It is now fully upgradable and will likely last me another six years, if not longer due to its upgradability. It also runs faster and is more powerful than it was originally. Lastly, I would also like to address the previous comment of Pam B.‘s negative criticism of their customer service. Don’t believe it. Not only did Terry get my computer working, salvaging everything that still worked from my old computer, but he spent more than six hours with me on the telephone going program by program, operation by operation, service by service, so that it would function at an optimal level. He did not charge me for those six hours. I can’t even begin to imagine what a call to Dell technical support would have cost if it had lasted that long. Overall, their customer service is amazing, their skill is exceptional, and their prices are affordable. They are family owned and they take pride in their work. I highly recommend them for any computer, cellphone or technical assistance.

Great customer service, and got me all set at a very fair price. Took my Samsung Galaxy S6 there with a cracked screen and scratched camera lens, fearing the worst. I was also concerned that my phone was too new and that parts might not be available. But they were total pros! Inspected my phone, showed me exactly where the damage happened, and ordered parts that day. The final cost came in right on the estimate, and the fix itself took less than 45 minutes. I would trust them with all the devices in my home, and recommend them to others!

Worst customer service ever! Avoid this place like the plague! Apparently my computer had a virus which they unsuccessfully attempted to remove not once but twice. Both times the virus returned within a 24 hour period. After the first time, I called and told them the virus was still there. They told me to bring it back but it would be 48 hours before I would get it back. I explained to him that they already had my computer for 48 hours but I was told I would be at the end of the list for repairs again. The second time they unsuccessfully removed the virus I was told they would investigate the problem. They told me they had purposefully put the virus on one of the company computers to try to find a solution. After checking with them several times that week, they still had not figured out how to remove the virus. Yesterday I called to see if they had figured out how to remove the virus and was suppose to be called back to confirm that they were ready for my computer. Needless to say, I never received that phone call. Today, I called and was told they had been waiting for me to bring it back. Apparently, it is the customer’s responsibility to check with them every day to see if they had come up with a solution instead of the business calling the customer to bring the computer in! I felt like the owner was very rude discussing this issue! I felt like I had been very patient with them but the owner’s attitude and rudeness makes me not want to ever take my computer back there! There goes my $ 150 down the drain!!!

My daughter dropped her three mos old iPhone 6 into the sink. I took the phone to Jeremy who put it under the microscope and let me know their wasn’t any interior moisture damage. This took him all of an hour to make this determination. He also commended my daughter on having let the phone sit in rice immediately after pulling it from the water. He charged me $ 20 for this service. I am sure that others would have charged a lot more and«found» potentially additional damage.

My Samsung Galaxy S3 was randomly rebooting itself and shutting down. I call these guys and they said it sounds like it needs a new power switch. I dropped it off and in an hour the phone was like new. They saved me several hundred bucks! Very satisfied.

Preparing to leave the country on my honeymoon and discovered a hardware problem with my cellphone. ATT said they could not repair it and recommended it’s replacement. Fortunately I discovered Jeremy at The Tech Doctor in Acworth and he was able to replace the broken part while I waited. They stayed a half hour after normal closing time to get me taken care of. Did an excellent job at a very reasonable price. They are located a few doors down from 5-Guys hamburgers in Acworth.
