Stopped back and enjoyed the pepperoni bread sticks(served with a side of homemade ranch dipping sauce and a side of Italian dipping sauce). Amazing. Seriously. The crust is soft and airy on the inside and crust on the outside. Perfectly baked. I WANT the recipe for this dough!

Not my favorite pizza but spicy Italian sub is made perfect here! Service can be slow depending on the night. Love the crushed ice and their Dr pepper tastes better than most places!

Very good pizza. Nice chewy crust with a sweeter sauce. The bbq chicken pizza is excellent as well. Will definitely be back.

Being from Chicago, pizza elsewhere is never as good as it is «back home». I was pleasantly surprised by Padrone’s and had to add my review! At one point back in the day, the shop was called«Pisanello’s», and my boyfriend just had to have it again during our alumni visit back to ONU. He was bummed to find out that it was no longer the place he remembered, but we tried it anyway. We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza with hand-tossed crust and an order of breadsticks. The breadsticks were like nothing I’d had before! They were quite large, and it appeared they were baked, as their outer layers were slightly toasted and crispy. Although we ordered them with pizza sauce to dip, I’ve read and been told that their homemade ranch was the way to go! We always order our pizza slightly well-done(for crispier crust & toppings), and our pizza arrived perfectly cooked and hot. There was the exact«right amount» of pepperonis, cheese and sauce; the crust was crispy and truly perfect. Although I may never be back in the area and get to enjoy Padrone’s again, I’m glad we made a stop in. If you’re in the mood for pizza while in Ada, check this place out!

I had a ‘life changing” event here while passing through Ada to promote Free Comic Book Day for the Alter Ego comic store in Lima. I’ve never been to Padrone’s, but every client I had in Ada and Bluffton raved about this place! The menu is huge for a pizza joint. Pastas, salads, soups, a variety of appetizers, wraps, etc. The staff while busy preparing for what was obviously going to be a busy weekday evening and still took excellent care of me. I had a 10″ supreme deluxe hand-tossed pizza. It was SOOOOOooooo good. I took half of it home with me and it was even memorable warmed up! My table was wobbly but that was the only thing wrong with my visit at Padrone’s for a late lunch. I thoroughly enjoyed my Mountain Dew and pizza while watching the rain come down!

Can’t go wrong with the chicken bacon white pizza and breadsticks… with ranch of course. Their pizza and breadsticks don’t disappoint and their ranch dressing is the best! Worth the drive to the cornfields of Ada!

We were stuck in Ada late on a Sunday night, and it was this restaurant or McDonald’s. So obviously we picked this. We had heard the other pizza place in town was better, but it was closed as well. However, we were pleasantly surprised. The service was quick and the pizza tasted very good. We have nothing to compare it to, but you can’t go wrong with it. The price was right as well.

I had a pretty good time here while briefly passing through Ada. It’s been awhile since I dined in at a pizza place that didn’t feature some kind of coal or wood-fired conversation-piece oven. That small town pizza parlor smell wafted over me and I was reminded of days gone by. I’ve never been to Padrone’s, but my dining partner went to college in Ada and raved about this place and his good times inside of it. To be honest, half the fun was watching him have fun. The breadsticks & ranch were excellent. That ranch was, indeed, live changing(the slogan on the menu refers to their food being life-changing). The bread sticks were fluffy on the inside, perfect crispness on the outside. Overall, the menu is huge for a pizza joint. Pastas, salads, soups, a variety of apps, wraps, etc. We stuck with a classic pepperoni and mushroom handtossed pizza. It was aight. Not bad, but similar to other small-town pizza joints that people decry as the«best ever» but really it has a lot more to do with nostalgia over bygone years. Our booth table was creaky, but that just added to the charm. Definitely a fun little stop, especially passing through on a snowy night.

This place is like the diner version of a pizza shop, in every good way possible. The ambiance makes it clear that nothing much has changed since the 70s, and you know that much of the building is held together with years of accumulated pizza grease and memories. The breadsticks are probably the best I’ve ever had, owing to their exceptional pizza dough recipe. The ranch is also top notch, the ranch by which all other ranches are compared. Unfortunately, they appear to have downgraded to worse cheese since I was in school here, because it’s kind of rubbery and not as melty. Or maybe the oven is just not as good. The subs really sing — they’re the perfect ratio of italian loaf to melty cheese… Your dining choices in Ada are limited, but this one is worth the stop.

The best pizza in Ada, hands down. My favorite all through college! Try the cheese filled breadsticks with their home-made ranch… heaven!(And artery clogging, I’m sure.) This of course, is ONU’s favorite pizza place, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. If you order then, be prepared for a long wait. Still, something certainly worth waiting for!

Food is good. But it takes 1 hour to be served. We used to go several times a week. Can’t afford the long wait.

I have to admit, after living in NYC for a year(I went to college in Ada), I have become very picky of my pizza, the bar has raised tremendously. When I returned back to Ada to visit, I thought to myself: «There is no way that I will enjoy Padrone’s, the makers of my weekly pizza and wings for the previous 4 years, as much as I used too». However, when I returned, I gave it a shot and ordered my typical assortment of food: large pepperoni and sausage pizza, bread sticks and barbecue wings. When all was said and done, I was still very happy with the taste, quality, and consistency. Even in comparison to the«Big Apple», Padrone’s still holds there own. I’ve learned that even in small town America, you can find mouth-watering pizza, with their own unique flavor. Much praise to Padrone’s for proving me wrong, and making awesome food! p. s. they deliver fast too!
