Very cute interior… located in an older building, alongside an antique shop. Be sure to browse after you eat and sip tea! The décor is very vintage and ladylike. Didn’t go for the afternoon tea, though I’d like to try it sometime. Got the chicken and rice with vegetables… yummy! It was a big serving. Make sure to try the peach tea — it’s a lot more peach than tea, but it was delicious. If you are going during a busy time or with a large group, it might be helpful to call in and reserve a table. We went in at about 1:00 on a weekday, and, as the older gentlemen owner told us, it would be quite a wait since not only the normal cook had recently had surgery and would be out, and a group of ten ladies came in unannounced for lunch. He wasn’t kidding — we waited about an hour for our food(we were a group of four). But I didn’t hold it against him, it was only him and another old gentleman cooking and serving the food. Would definitely be willing to come back and try again!
