Came here after walking around the antique part of Stoudt’s. You could easily miss this place if you are not looking for it. If you walk all the way to the back and you see a tiny café area… keep walking. You will be glad you did. I had the grilled cheese and cauliflower garlic soup. I did not care for the soup, but the grilled cheese sandwich overwhelmed me… not your general American cheese sandwich. And the bread was out of this world. I purchased an apricot, flax seed bread to take home. OMG…put a little butter on it and it tastes like dessert. I’m going back tomorrow to try another sandwich and buy more bread. I hope they don’t run out … And the people were so nice on the phone when I called about the scarf I left behind. I told them I would pay for postage and they said, don’t bother. It wasn’t a problem. Thanks wonderful good market.

The Wonderful Good Market is a small market that is operated on the Stoudt’s brewery property, but is actually in a building behind the main brewery and restaurant. We stopped in here on Saturday after having lunch at the brewery and were absolutely blown away by the bread and cheese. We sampled several of the cheeses and went home with the Eliana — a fresh italian cheese that tastes similar to mozzarella but has streaks of pesto in it. DH chose the Elderbritch which is their house gouda. We also went home with the fresh made beer bread — that was still warm when we bought it. OH dear lord… I haven’t had bread this good in years. They also had sandwiches that I hope to try on a future trip. There was also a small dry goods section and an adjoining antique market. Can’t wait to go back!!!
