I have brought my infant daughter here since she was born because I live right by the office. I’ve never even met the doctor just nurses. My last appointment was first thing in the morning and when I arrived the office lights were off but the door was unlocked. My appointment was for 9 am and i waited until 9:05 am and went inside and said«hello»? No response so I closed the door and waited in the hallway. Ten minutes later an employee along with her young daughter showed up. The employee pulled out her keys to open the door and I informed her the door was unlocked. She didn’t seem to care the office door was left unlocked or the fact she shows up late for work. Not really caring is also the vibe I get from this office. Time to find a different office, sorry.

I take my daughters here. The staff are friendly and Knowledgeable. I usually see the NPs when we come in for routine visits If the girls are ill or have visited the ER(unfortunately my littlest one did recently) they will See Dr. Perez for their follow up. I also love that at each milestone visit they receive an age appropriate book.(:

Everything started out fine here. They are very clean here and respected my decisions on not vaccinating my children.(Sorry if that offends anyone, but to each his own). They were a little pushy with interventions that I did not want to subject my children to. But I think I’m going to have to deal with that a little bit anywhere that I go because a good majority of the population is for modern medicine now a days. Anywho, long story short, I randomly received a letter in the mail from them stating that they respected our decision on why we will not vaccinate our children. yet…they will no longer be able to serve us if we didn’t get them inoculated… HAH. Well, then apparently they do not respect our wishes to not vaccinate. They also stated that it was because of the measles outbreak… okay well thanks for serving my children for half a year fully respecting our decisions only to find out later I have to search for a new pediatrician because they got scared. I hope that is legal to change such an important policy because they are going to lose all of their unvaccinated patients. Come to think of it they also took a very long time to get back to me with results and such. I would have to call them a lot. I would say 2 out of every 10 times I have called them no matter when, they never answered their phone, that was really annoying too. I’m kind of glad I have to switch now that I think about it.

I’m actually incredibly disappointed to be leaving an unsatisfactory review for this office. When we met Dr. Perez we absolutely adored him. He was charming and we were very comfortable having him care for our son. Unfortunately, we’ve only seen him once since our son was born. His associates have handled most of our son’s appointments and we’d prefer to deal with Dr. Perez instead. All of the staff is friendly. The office is clean. A few weeks ago our son had diarrhea and vomiting for 5 days. We did all we could to make him comfortable and keep him hydrated, but he was clearly miserable, and it was awful to see a one year old struggle like that. We called the pediatrician when he wouldn’t get out of bed one day. Normally this kid is bouncing off the walls, but he slept for almost 18 hours that day and started to refuse food and water. We figured after 5 days of what he was going through, it was time to have someone look at him because he seemed to be getting worse instead of better. We called Dr. Perez’ office and the woman answering the phone said he should be seen and to wait for a call back from the doctor. I waited 3 hours before calling my husband and telling him to meet me at the ER instead. It was days before we got a call back from A to Z Pediatrics and what was on the other end of the line wasn’t even a person. It was an automated message in Spanish telling me that their office was no longer accepting certain forms of Medicaid. We’re disappointed and discouraged and walking away from this office. We are due with twins in June and were hoping to not have to find a new Pediatrician, but after what happened a few weeks ago, we need to act in the best interest of our children.
