Probably the nicest place Ive been regarding auto mechanics. They have a FANTASTIC waiting room! Free soda and drinks. A massage chair!!! Prices are standard to everyone else. (lower than the dealership) They explain what is wrong with your vehicle. Did I mention their waiting room? Big screen TV and they give you the remote. They have a HUGE area for children to play. Thankfully I have none. They document everything and I got a digital readout of my alignment too. People there are nice. Annnnnnd they all speak English! Its like going to the dealership with out the dealership prices. They arent cheap but they get the job done and give you pricing options. Only think missing while I waiting for my car to get done while I was sitting on the massage chair was a beer.
AS a side note, if you get their special on an oil change ask for a better oil filter. Their standard oil filter sucks monkey nuts! Its all paper and cardboard inside. It wont last past 3000 miles.

My brakes were screeching like something awful. Took my car in one morning to have it checked out. I was tight on money that week but these guys were willing to help me out and fix it that day in less than 2 hours. Best part was I didn’t feel like I was being screwed like I usually do when I take my car in to a new place. Great customer service and honest people!

Ive seen both sides of this company. The good was when I got an oil change that cost me about $ 15 and they went way above my expectations doing a quick inspection on my car and fixing one of my windshield wipers. This was all for free! But then the other day when I went they were supposed to do a top off of all fluids and they didn’t. Not only that but I felt like it was all rushed. Like I said I’ve encountered both ends and that applies with the people that work there too. The manager is really nice while an employee I encountered was kind of rude. I guess it all depends if you catch them on a good day or not.

My son got a referral from his roommate for this place and we couldn’t be happier! My son drives a beater and we had to drive it over to them at 30mph while I followed. We explained that we understand the car is old and we would not be replacing it however, if they could keep it running a few more months (without us spending a fortune) we’d be grateful.
After 3 days Tim called my son and told him what we already knew, the car was a hot mess but they would keep working at it. After 2 more days, Tim called again and said they narrowed it down to the computer. He would have to order the part and it wasn’t returnable (computer module) but if he was incorrect, he would only charge us for the actual part and nothing more. He also needed a new battery (they charged $ 20 more than Auto Zone). Overall, they had the car a week (not an issue for us), kept us informed, tried a bunch of hit and miss stuff and ultimately only charged us for what they actually diagnosed (less than $ 500).
We did get one estimate prior to this referral and it was over $ 1200. I can’t say enough good things about Scott and Tim.

I always bring my car for service to AAC auto clinic in Glendale Heights because of low price and great service. But couple months ago I got a call from a guy who said he name was Ron from AAC auto clinic. He told me that they are merging with Addison location I have to bring my car for service at Addison location from now on because they are closing own the Glendale Height location. Fine with me, last week I called Addison location and made appoint for oil change for Saturday morning at 8:30am. This morning when I arrived at AAC Addison I saw only one guy at the counter so I asked for Ron. «No Ron here» the guy replied. And then I asked him about the merging. He told me that he has no clue about the merging. I was confused. My guts told me this does not feel right. Instead of giving him my car key, I walked outside and call Glendale Height location. Sure enough I talked to the real Ron. He told me he still open and in the business. He just took over the business and changed the name to «Countryside Auto repair Service». Now I know what is going on. Somebody lie to me about this place closing down and wanted me to go to AAC in Addison instead. There are two things that I really hate «Liar and Theft». So I left AAC in Addison and drove to see Ron in Glendale Height for service. He gave me great service and great price as always and also gave me his new phone number 630−480−7444. I am glad I did make that phone call.

I got an oil change at AAC today. I loved that they had a great waiting room and an awesome kid’s playroom. My daughter loved it. Everything went great, except for at the end when we gave them a coupon for a $ 9.95 oil change and they charged us $ 13. I don’t know where the extra $ 3 came from, but other than that I had a good experience with AAC.

Last week, while driving home, I swerved hard to avoid being hit by some jerk who pulled out too far. I hit the curb hard and dented the hell out of my rim, which in turn caused a flat tire.
I called around a few places and AAC still seemed like our best bet, so my husband, wonderful guy that he is, took my car in on Monday to have them give it a look-​over.
Unfortunately, they couldn’t get a used wheel in and it took most of the week for them to get a new one. The one area where they failed a bit was in communicating this to us – we didn’t know what the hold-​up was, just that this theoretical wheel kept being pushed back.
BUT, they made up for it today – my tire was still in perfectly good shape, and they didn’t charge us for anything besides the cost of the wheel, when they could’ve tacked on mounting fees, labor, yadda yadda. Plus they were apologetic about the long wait.
So my faith has been restored. But guys, I hope we don’t have to see each other again anytime soon. I’m tired of crap going wrong with my car.
Edit ⁵⁄₃: I thought I could trust these guys, but now I’m not so sure. My husband has done most of the actual dealing with them, so when it was just me Saturday I got the feeling I was getting the «dumb girl with credit card» treatment.
I got my oil changed and asked them to see if there were any obvious problems that would cause my oil light to come on intermittently. Instead of running an oil pressure test or suggesting swapping out the pressure sensor, a really cheap part, he just stabbed in the dark — told me my oil pan was «starting to rust» and should be replaced. Well, I’ve got no indication of a leak, and that is definitely not what was causing the light to come on; further, he wanted to charge $ 180 for a part that’s about $ 50 aftermarket.
After taking this information and going home to the internet, I determined that he really should have started with the sensor. So that’s where I started, and guess what, the car is running totally fine. I’m not entirely sure we’ll be going back there, though.

My car went dead suddenly at a busy intersection and I didn’t have a friend’s shop to take it to. Upon recommendation I took it to this shop. I know cars, and mine would run fine but die randomly for no particular reason. That is the worst type of trouble to shoot– unexplained, intermittent problems.
They caught the problem on the first shot: something in my distributor was causing an electrical arc across my entire engine which could have probably caused a major fire eventually. It was repaired and I’ve had no issues since.
The bill was fair, the shop and especially their waiting room was very clean, the mechanics/​representatives of the shop were very professional and were willing to explain the problem and solution.
PS– They have coupons either in the value saver you get in the mail or the dollar wise addition in the local adverts.
