Americas Best Value Inn-Addison/Dallas

I’ve stayed here a couple of times now and it’s not bad. Nothing to write home about, but I enjoyed my stay. The rooms are clean and have refrigerators, microwaves, irons (with a board) and hairdryers. Most discount hotels don’t have all these for $ 48 a nite! The place is old, not gonna lie there; it’s definitely in need of a facelift. Old furniture, paint, carpet and fixtures. The sinks and toilets are updated and all the rooms have flatscreen TV’S (albeit locked, couldn’t plug in my computer or games to it), so those are pluses. They offer coffee and Continental breakfast (bread for those of you not in the know), but I’d steer clear; coffees weak and pastries are suspect at best.
The staff is very nice though and maid service are really good (they tidied all my toiletries while they were cleaning. nice touch). So if you just need a place to stay for a few you could do much worse, and for the price it’s kind of a steal in Addison.
