Superb services to change batteries for my watches. It only costed $ 15.99 for lifetime battery change for each watch! Never do I have to pay again if watch battery fails again! People there are really nice too!

I stumbled here to find a rare battery I had looked for at Fry’s Electronics, 2 Discount Electronics, 3 Radio Shacks, and a Batteries Plus all in Austin, Texas. I came to Dallas for the holiday weekend to see my family and decided to try one more time. Amazingly enough, they knew the exact battery I had been searching for and had several in stock! The guys also gave me some good advice on a Sharper Image flashlight I had and helped me get two different sets of bulbs I sorely needed to fix up my Mom’s house. Best staff! Really friendly and helpful !! Thy have a ridiculously large selection! And if they don’t have what you need they can refer you and are pretty happy to do so, gotta hand it to them.

Prices are reasonable, workers are knowledgeable, and customer service is superb.
The guy who worked there offered to solder a battery on to my electronic item for free. As I was leaving, the guy also helped install car batteries in another customer’s car for free.

If you are looking for odd types of batteries all in one location this is your place! They have anything from small watch batteries to car batteries. You can also recycle your old batteries on site. I’m not sure about the brand of batteries or how long they last. One of the battery backup type units failed in less than 2 years compared to the APC brand I usually buy. The prices are fair!

I’ll be the first to admit it, I’m pretty technologically challenged. That being said, I’m sure I’ve been ripped-​off in the past because of this (much like Jiffy Lube trying to pull a fast one on the phallically challenged). Thanks Batteries Plus dudes for being totally awesome and honest!
I called up Batteries Plus because I was getting ready to go on a trip and really wanted to use my digital camera (which had been out of commission for a few years because I lost the charger/​dock and couldn’t find a new one). I told them that I just needed to get a new battery and they assured me they had one that was compatible with my now old school camera.
When I arrived, I was ready to buy a battery and go. Thankfully, the very helpful employees realized that, being the genius that I am, I thought that I could just buy the battery and bam my camera would work! They informed me that I’d still need to charge the battery beforehand and that my old battery was definitely no good. Because the only compatible charger was a multi-​battery charger (and pretty pricey), they gave me a DISCOUNT! Oh, and did I mention they’re open until 8:00 on the weekdays? I’ll definitely be back for all my battery-​powered needs!

So I hate brands. I’m not shallow enough to shell out thousands for some shi++y purse that, frankly, is the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen (Aimee, I know you hear me). But sometimes, and by sometimes I mean extremely rarely, a brand actually exudes quality.
There are only 2 things in the world I insist on buying brand for. #1 for many reasons is Reef flip-​flops, which I plan to be buried in. #2, of course, is Timex. Specifically my Ladies Expedition watch, which is on its third band and just now, after 4 or 5 years, ran out of battery life.
I took my watch to the nice kids down at Batteries Plus, where they found the battery, meticulously placed it in the Timex, and charged me a mere $ 4 for the trouble.
They have batteries for EVERYTHING. I recommend coming here if you need any weird-​shaped battery for any device (unless you’re super-​techy and good at locating the battery aisle in Fry’s). I found the prices reasonable, and they have batteries for every cell phone and laptop ever made. They blow away any selection I’ve ever seen.
